Tools to support planning for high quality RE:
In November 2019 Norfolk launched its new Agreed Syllabus, this multi-disciplinary syllabus was designed to provide pupils and students the learning opportunities they need to hold balanced and well informed conversations on religion and worldviews. To support this intention below are knowledge organisers that can be downloaded and edited for each unit of the Agreed Syllabus and three additional units for Early Years Foundation Stage. These units have been developed from a grant kindly provided by the Culham St Gabriel’s Trust. This has enabled RE local leaders and RE Ambassadors (from DNEAT) to work with the RE Adviser for the diocese to provide detailed planning to support the implementation of the Agreed Syllabus for Norfolk.
Below is an overview of each knowledge organiser unit provided. Each downloadable unit is colour coded: orange headers are theology, blue headers are philosophy and green headers are social human sciences.
