Rory McIlroy did not inform estranged wife Erica Stoll that he intended to divorce her in person. The PGA Tour star, 35, filed to divorce Stoll, 36, following seven years of marriage just 24 hours after winning the Wells Fargo Championship in Charlotte, North Carolina.  However, it has now emerged that the four-time major winner hired a police officer to serve the divorce papers to Stoll at their family home. 

The summer transfer window of 2023 will be remembered as the one when a new footballing machine powered onto the scene. Scottie Scheffler admitted to cops 'I should have stopped' before accusing 'over-aggressive' Detective Bryan Gillis of 'hitting me with his flashlight' in new footage captured just minutes after his arrest at the PGA Championship. Golf's world No. 1 was arrested in the early hours of May 17 before his second round at Valhalla Golf Club in Kentucky for not following police orders during a pedestrian fatality investigation. The 27-year-old was booked on four charges, including second-degree assault of a police officer, but it has been reported that all charges will be dropped today.

Paulina Gretzky and Dustin Johnson's household may be divided over the Eastern Conference Finals after the golfer celebrated the Panthers' Game 4 win. The model, who is the daughter of NHL legend and former Rangers great Wayne Gretzky, attended the game at Amerant Bank Arena in Florida Tuesday night, where New York was defeated 3-2 in overtime.  She shared several snaps to her Instagram Story, including a photo of Johnson rocking a Panthers jersey while watching from a private suite.  

With social media buzzing about Kylie Kelce's hostile run-in with an angry woman in South Jersey, a new clip has resurfaced showing Jason's wife offering a warning to anyone who messes with her husband. 'Well let me just say I am almost six feet tall and I'm not thin,' the 32-year-old Kylie tells her brother-in-law during an old episode of the Kelce's weekly podcast, New Heights.

This Saturday night, Dustin Poirier will get his third chance at claiming the UFC lightweight title.  'The Diamond' will take on reigning champion - and the number one pound-for-pound fighter - Islam Makhachev, in UFC 302's highly-anticipated main event bout.  Poirier, who has a professional record of 30-8, has never held a title before but, having come so close previously, will look to put that drought to an end on Saturday.

The Memphis Grizzlies guard got inked over Memorial Day Weekend as the finished products were shared by California-based artist Jose Guijosa, a.k.a. Killer Tattoos - on Tuesday. Rose had his wife Alaina A. Anderson's initials 'AAA' running vertically on his cheek, just to the left of his ear. Another tattoo reading 'Privilege Knowledge' sits farther up on his temple.

Rory McIlroy believes the death of two-time PGA Tour winner Grayson Murray has highlighted how 'vulnerable and fragile' top sports stars can be. The golfing world was left in shock on Saturday when it was announced the American had died less than 24 hours after withdrawing from the second round at the Charles Schwab Challenge in Texas with two holes remaining. His parents confirmed in a statement Sunday that Murray had taken his own life. He had previously spoken openly about his battles with depression, anxiety and alcoholism.

Jason Kelce has opened up on his weekend trip to New Jersey with wife Kylie, insisting they had 'a great time' despite her furious row with a 'drunk' woman. Footage emerged of the argument on Tuesday and showed Kylie clashing with a fan who reportedly 'harassed' her and Jason for a picture as they tried to enjoy a date night on Memorial Day weekend. The clip shows Travis Kelce's brother and sister-in-law being confronted by the woman outside the restaurant as she shouts at Kylie: 'I don't give a f**k who you are, you'll never be allowed in this town again!'

Jason and Travis Kelce are begging fans to stop sending mail to their houses.  The New Heights podcast hosts revealed gifts have been showing up on their doorsteps after sleuths figured out their home addresses.    'We want to encourage more of this engagement from our fans. We love it when you guys send cool stuff,' Jason said on Wednesday's episode of the New Heights podcast, after explaining there was fan mail waiting for him at his vacation home on the Jersey Shore. 

France star Jules Kounde has divided opinion after he was pictured arriving at the pre-Euro 2024 training camps wearing heels. The Barcelona defender arrived at France's Clairefontaine base to join up with his team-mates having been named in the 25-man squad. Kounde, who was seen carrying a Louis Vuitton bag, received attention from fans on social media for another fashion choice.
