Arguably one of the funniest moment in this year's Love Island, was during the arrival of the Casa Amor girls, when Kai Fagan mistook bombshell Lydia for a person he knew outside the villa and began shouting across the pool "Kim!".
Only to quickly realise the new Islander, wasn't in fact Kim. It instantly became a meme and we even tracked down the famous Kim (more on that later). And now after weeks of anticipation Love Island winners Kai and Sanam have reunited with Kim.
Posting on his Instagram story last night (16th March) Kai shared a clip of himself and Sanam reuniting with Kim at their welcome home party.
In the clip the pair are talking to camera and Kai jokingly asked Sanam: "Wait Sanam, guess who it is?", to which Sanam also jokingly replied: "Oh, who is it?" and then Kai said: "It's KIM!" and panned the camera to Kim.
Kim and Sanam shared a close hug and laughed. What an iconic moment.
So who is the mysterious Kim Kai thought he saw? Well we found her and this is everything you need to know.
To quickly recap: following the episode in which the girls left the villa for Casa Amor, the boys, who remained in the main villa, welcomed six new girls.
As they made their way across the villa Kai thought he recognised new Islander Lydia Karakyriakou. He began saying to the boys: "Bro I know her, I know her." He then began shouting across the pool "Kim!" before quickly realising new girl Lydia wasn't in fact Kim, and said: "Oh no I don't know her. I don't know her."
Social media users found the moment hysterical and quickly memed the scene on Twitter. One person said: "Kai screaming 'Kim' at some random girl has to be the best moment so far." And another said: "WHY DID KAI JUST SHOUT KIM AT A RANDOM GIRL IM CRYING."
The real Kim is actually a cabin crew member from Manchester, who Kai follows on Instagram. Kim told Cosmopolitan UK she's known Kai for a long time as the pair grew up in the same area and share a number of mutual friends.
"I’ve known Kai for years now, we grew up in the same area and share lots of mutual friends."
It turns out Kim was just shocked as the rest of us when Kai began shouting her name as she watched the show at home. "I was watching Love Island but I was on my phone when I heard Kai shout my name, I looked and I saw Lydia. I had to double look and then my phone started to blow up."
Kai mistook new contestant 22-year-old retail assistant Lydia Karakyriakou from Glasgow, for his friend Kim, and Kim said she's found it "flattering" people think the two look similar.
She told Cosmopolitan UK: "I feel flattered that people think I look like her, at a brief glance I can see the resemblances, so easy mistake for him to make but she is stunning."
Kim went onto explain before the hilarious moment happened, she'd already had friends sending her pictures of Lydia, saying the pair looked similar. "Before Kai shouted my name I had several people sending me her photo from the Love Island Instagram page saying that I looked like her as it is."
Ever since the episode aired many Love Island fans have also tracked Kim down and been commenting on her posts "the Kim" and "it's the famous Kim".
Kim told Cosmopolitan UK she reckons the pair will have a "laugh" about the viral moment when Kai comes out of the villa, and that she's "rooting for Kai and hope he does well in the villa."
