How To Make the Perfect Iced Tea

After Dinner Mints Iced Tea

Summer has finally arrived, and not a moment too soon if you ask us.  We’re toasting to sundrenched days and shady afternoons spent cooling off with that distinctly American beverage, iced tea. We’ll be drinking Clipper by the pitcher all season long and hope you will too!

The Perfect Iced Tea for in the Summer

After Dinner Mints

Why wait until after dinner to enjoy this cool cuppa? In the blazing summer heat, this minty refresher is twice as nice when you put it on ice.

How to make 1 Pitcher

Ingredients

8 cups filtered water, divided in half
6 individual After Dinner Mints teabags

Instructions

  1. First, place tea bags in a heat safe pitcher or bowl.
  2. Now, put the kettle on. Bring four cups of filtered water to a boil and pour over tea bags. (Do remember to recycle the wrappers and tags!)
  3. Steep for 10 minutes, then remove tea bags and put them in the compost bin.
  4. Add four cups of chilled filtered water. Give it a stir.
  5. To serve, pour over ice as-is or sweeten it up with simple syrup to taste. Garnish with even more mint if you’re feeling cheeky!
