Bookstart Bear Singing The Handwash Rhyme.

Bookstart Bear at Bradford Libraries helps children to stay safe by singing a new handwash rhyme. This rhyme will help children wash their hands for the recommended 20 seconds and also demonstrates how to wash hands correctly following NHS guidelines.

You may remember when the Bradford 50 things to do before you are five Champions came to take over our library storytimes in October last year.  We are thrilled that 50 things champions have recorded storytimes for our Youtube channel.

The story is a Timeslip adventure set in current day and Second World War, school children Katy and Patrick find themselves mysteriously plunged back into the past as evacuees, where they have to change the course of history to avert a terrible tragedy and make there way back home.

The story links to the Primary Curriculum aimed at children age 9 to 12 years and there are learning resources and fun activities to do alongside.
