Introduction
Blenheim Palace places great importance on the safety, security and enjoyment of all of its visitors and endeavours to ensure that the high standards set by Blenheim Palace are complied with by all persons visiting the Blenheim Palace Estate.
We truly hope that you have a fantastic experience with us. In order for you to make the most of your visit and in the interests of safety and security, we would like to bring to your express attention the following key terms and information which we require you to comply with and abide by at all times. Entry to the Blenheim Palace Estate will only be permitted to those visitors who are willing to comply with these booking and entry terms and conditions (“Entry Conditions”).
PLEASE READ THESE ENTRY CONDITIONS CAREFULLY BEFORE MAKING A BOOKING.
Section A - About Us
Blenheim Palace is a privately-owned iconic heritage estate, owned and managed by Blenheim Palace Heritage Foundation, a limited company registered at Companies House under company registration number 09430048 and a charity registered with The Charity Commission under charity number 1166164 (“Blenheim Palace”, “we”, “us”, “our”). Our registered address is at The Estate Office, Blenheim Palace, Woodstock, Oxon OX20 1PP and our VAT registration number is 195 2677 24.

For the purposes of these Entry Conditions, references to the “Blenheim Palace Estate” means those attractions and facilities which form part of the Blenheim Palace estate including the Palace, Park and Gardens which are available to members of the public to access.
Section B - Purchasing Tickets
o Tickets can be purchased online through our Website; by telephone by calling our customer support team (whose contact information is included in Section A above) or on-site at our ticket office. Full payment is required at the time of booking. Tickets can also be purchased through our chosen third-party ticket partners (to which separate terms and conditions may apply).
o When you place an order for a ticket on our Website or by telephoning our customer support team, our acceptance of your booking will take place as soon as we process your payment, at which point a contract will be entered into between you and us and we will also send you an email confirmation. We will assign a booking number to your booking and will tell you what it is when we accept your booking. It will help us if you can tell us this booking number whenever you contact us about your booking. The barcode and/or QR code provided in your email confirmation forms part of your ticket and must be presented on arrival to gain entry to the Blenheim Palace Estate.
o There are different ticket types available to purchase. These include the Blenheim Palace Annual Pass; Privilege Pass; Palace, Park & Gardens ticket; and Park & Gardens ticket. Walking Passes are also available for local residents only. You can find out more information regarding the on-site facilities and experiences which each ticket type entitles access to (along with other benefits) by visiting our Website or contacting us using the details provided above in Section A. Please note, additional terms and conditions apply to the issue and use of a Blenheim Palace Annual Pass and Privilege Pass (see section J of these Entry Conditions).
o Tickets for Blenheim Palace Adventure Play are available to purchase at an additional cost and separate “Palace & Play Terms and Conditions” apply (which can be found at https://www.blenheimpalace.com/terms-and-conditions/#play-terms or are otherwise available upon request). In the event of any inconsistency or conflict between these Entry Conditions and the Palace & Play Terms and Conditions, the Palace & Play Terms and Conditions shall take precedence. Please note, the purchase of a Blenheim Palace Adventure Play ticket does not entitle you to entry to the Palace, Park or Gardens.
o Tickets are valid for one entry to the relevant facilities and experiences at the Blenheim Palace Estate. Tickets purchased are only valid on the date printed on the ticket.
o Tickets are non-refundable, cannot be exchanged and are non-transferable and accordingly may not be sold or passed to any third party.
o Should you or a member of your party need to cancel your booking once it has been confirmed through no fault of ours, you must immediately notify us. We are unable to provide refunds in respect of such cancelled bookings.
o Occasionally, we have to make changes to or cancel confirmed bookings and reserve the right to do so. If we have to make a significant change to or cancel your booking, we will tell you as soon as possible and, where there is sufficient time ahead of your visit, you will have an option to:
- accept the change;
- purchase an alternative ticket from us – if the alternative ticket is less than you paid, we will refund the difference and if it is more expensive, you will not be charged for the additional sum; or
- cancel or accept our cancellation of the ticket in exchange for a full refund of the sums you paid to us for such ticket, provided always that Blenheim Palace shall not be responsible for any other expenses, costs or losses incurred by you as a result of any such change or cancellation.
o All persons entering the Blenheim Palace Estate must hold and present a valid ticket. Tickets must be retained at all times and, where required by Blenheim Palace, submitted for inspection. Any tickets or donation receipts which have been altered or defaced will be void.
o Tickets may not be valid for special events or experiences which may attract a separate admission fee.
o Any offers and promotions must be booked online before arrival, these cannot be redeemed on-site.
o Proof of entitlement for certain ticket types may be required for entry (for example, a valid Annual Pass or student card).
o A maximum of one (1) carer is permitted to enter the Blenheim Palace Estate free of charge when accompanying someone with a disability (within the meaning of the Equality Act 2010).
o Children under 3 years of age are given free access to the Blenheim Palace Estate (provided that they are accompanied by an adult aged 18 years or over who is a valid ticket holder).
o The Blenheim Palace Estate is private property. The sale of tickets by anyone other than Blenheim Palace and its chosen third party ticket partners is strictly prohibited. Only persons authorised by Blenheim Palace are permitted to sell or offer for sale any items to visitors within the Blenheim Palace Estate grounds.
o In order to implement and manage these Entry Conditions and to enable Blenheim Palace to comply with its contractual and statutory obligations, Blenheim Palace will need to process certain personal data relating to ticket holders and other visitors. Details of the types of personal data which Blenheim Palace collects, the purposes for which Blenheim Palace processes that personal data and its legal basis for doing so, are included in a separate data privacy policy available here. For further details on how this may apply in practice, you may contact Blenheim Palace using the contact details set out in Section A.
Section C - Admissions
o All persons entering the Blenheim Palace Estate are admitted subject to these Entry Conditions. By entering the Blenheim Palace Estate, you are taken to have read and are deemed to understand, accept and agree to, these Entry Conditions.
o If tickets are purchased on behalf of other visitors (as part of a group booking, for example), the purchasing person accepts these Entry Conditions on behalf of every visitor and shall ensure that these Entry Conditions are adhered to and complied with in all respects by each such person.
o No child or children aged 16 or under will be admitted to the Blenheim Palace Estate unless they are accompanied by an adult aged 18 years or over (who is a valid ticket holder) and such child or children whilst on-site must remain under the control and supervision of an adult at all times. Blenheim Palace reserves the right, in its absolute discretion, to change the age restrictions referred to in this condition, if any particular circumstances so require in the interests of safety, security or other operational reasons.
o You are reminded that for operational, technical, safety, security or other reasons, certain facilities and experiences at the Blenheim Palace Estate may be closed, removed, altered or otherwise unavailable at any time and no refunds will be given or compensation paid in such circumstances. In the event of any such closure, removal, alteration or unavailability, we accept no responsibility for travel, accommodation or any other associated costs of any visitor.
o Opening hours for the Blenheim Palace Estate are displayed on our Website, however these hours may be subject to seasonal restrictions and other changes without notice, in our discretion. We may also restrict access in whole or in part to the Blenheim Palace Estate for capacity and health and safety reasons, in our discretion.
o By entering the Blenheim Palace Estate, you accept that you are under a duty to take reasonable steps to ensure your own safety (including the safety of any children under your control or supervision) and of those within your party, taking into account, amongst other matters, any personal medical conditions.
o Please be aware that there are some areas in and around the Blenheim Palace Estate which are not level and areas where visitors could slip, trip or fall. Rather than put up signs to spoil your view or to restrict access to these areas, we want to keep things just as they were intended years ago. This relies on our visitors being alert to these potential issues and particularly keeping young children nearby and safe.
o We reserve the right to refuse the sale of a ticket; or refuse admission to the Blenheim Palace Estate; or to remove from any part of the Blenheim Palace Estate or ban entry to the Blenheim Palace Estate (as the context so requires), any person whose presence or behavior we reasonably believe will or may affect the safety and/or enjoyment of other visitors or Blenheim Palace staff or other circumstances so require (including any failure to adhere to or comply with any part of these Entry Conditions or where any visitor uses or threatens to use any violent, aggressive, abusive, discriminatory or insulting words or behaviour). If we take any steps or actions contemplated by this condition, you acknowledge and agree that you shall have no right to and shall not be entitled to a refund or other compensation.
o If any visitor in breach of these Entry Conditions is part of a group, then such group of individuals may also, at Blenheim Palace’s discretion, be denied entry to or escorted from the Blenheim Palace Estate without right to a refund or other compensation.
o Unless otherwise advised by us, admission to the Blenheim Palace Estate will only be permitted up to one hour before the applicable closing time.
o Re-entry to the Blenheim Palace Estate following admission is not permitted without our express prior consent.
o In the event of extreme weather conditions or other events or circumstances beyond our reasonable control, we may have to close all or part of the Blenheim Palace Estate. Should this happen, we will transfer your tickets to a convenient revisit date.
Section D - Conduct of Visitors and Regulations
o All persons in and around the Blenheim Palace Estate should behave in a safe and appropriate manner at all times. Whilst inside the Blenheim Palace Estate, all visitors must comply with any reasonable instructions given to them by Blenheim Palace staff or any third party instructed on behalf of Blenheim Palace. We will not tolerate the use of threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour towards our staff or other visitors.
o To prevent offensive weapons, dangerous articles and/or unsuitable items from being brought into the Blenheim Palace Estate and to protect the safety of our visitors and staff, all visitors are admitted to the Blenheim Palace Estate subject to a condition that, if requested to do so, they will allow themselves and/or their belongings (including clothing and bags) to be searched. Any failure to comply with a request for such a search may result in entry being refused.
o It is prohibited to bring into the Blenheim Palace Estate any weapons, ammunition, explosives, fireworks, smoke bombs, horns, whistles, drums, flagpoles, banners, balloons, sporting equipment, large umbrellas or any other item which in our reasonable opinion may cause danger or disruption to any attraction, facility, event, visitors, staff or resident wildlife. The throwing of any article which could cause injury or affect the enjoyment of other visitors is strictly prohibited.
o Any person found to be in possession of an article deemed by Blenheim Palace to be offensive or dangerous will be immediately escorted from the Blenheim Palace Estate without the right to a refund or other compensation and Blenheim Palace reserves the right to make reports to the relevant authorities which may lead to prosecution.
o Large bags, back packs and rucksacks are not allowed inside the Palace.
o Smoking (including of e-cigarettes and vaping devices) is strictly prohibited inside, or at the doorways to, any facilities at the Blenheim Palace Estate.
o Alcohol or illegal substances are not permitted to be brought onto the Blenheim Palace Estate, and any persons found in possession of alcohol and/or illegal substances, or who appear to be under the influence of alcohol and/or any illegal substance may be refused admission to the Blenheim Palace Estate or escorted from the Blenheim Palace Estate without right to a refund or other compensation.
o The only transport devices which are permitted within the Blenheim Palace Estate are wheelchairs and mobility scooters. Bicycles are not permitted within the Blenheim Palace Estate, other than for travelling to the Blenheim Palace Estate for the purposes of a visit (from the gate up to the entrance points only).
o The use of adult scooters, skateboards, roller-skates, 'hoverboards', sledges or any similar equipment is not permitted in the Blenheim Place Estate. Children are permitted to ride on scooters, push-bikes/balance bikes and tricycles in the Park area only, and must be supervised at all times. Parents/guardians/accompanying adults are responsible for ensuring children are wearing the appropriate safety gear.
o The use of barbeques, whether disposable or otherwise, is not permitted at the Blenheim Palace Estate. Visitors are permitted to bring their own picnics for consumption in designated picnic areas (as directed by Blenheim Palace). All that we ask is that you do not litter at the Blenheim Palace Estate and use bins provided or take litter home. You are not permitted to bring food and beverages into the Palace.
o Unnecessary noise (such as that from the use of mobile phones and other electrical equipment), or any behaviour likely to cause annoyance to other visitors or confusion of any kind is not permitted in any part of the Blenheim Palace Estate.
o No dogs or other pets (with the exception of guide dogs, hearing dogs and registered assistance dogs which are permitted in certain areas) shall be permitted entry to: (i) the Palace; Gardens (including the Walled Garden), save for signposted areas within the East Courtyard and grassed area outside the Pizza Cafe; or (ii) Blenheim Palace Adventure Play. Dogs are allowed in designated areas within the Park, but must be kept on a lead at all times to help protect livestock and wildlife.
Section E – Photography, videography and CCTV
o You are permitted to take photographs and video recordings at the Blenheim Palace Estate provided that these are solely for your private use and are not sold, used or otherwise exploited for any commercial or public purpose. However, the use of tripods, selfie sticks or similar devices are not permitted in the Palace.
o By accepting these Entry Conditions, you agree not to intentionally photograph and/or capture video footage of any individual without that person’s express prior permission and you must adhere to all photography/filming restrictions in place at Blenheim Palace Estate from time to time.
o Except where an authorised wedding or event has taken place inside the Palace, celebration photography or videography (which includes but is not limited to, engagement, wedding, pregnancy, birthday, anniversary, fashion shoots, or anything else deemed commercial photography or videography by Blenheim Palace) is not permitted within the Blenheim Palace Estate unless the express prior written consent of Blenheim Palace has been obtained. Charges will be incurred by any photographers or videographers who come to site without prior permission.
o Please note that the Blenheim Palace Estate is strictly a no-fly zone. The use of drones and other flying objects is strictly forbidden (except with the express written permission of the security department at Blenheim Palace). Unauthorised drone use can result in significant fines and may lead to prosecution. For more information please see here.
o From time to time, Blenheim Palace and third parties to whom we have provided our express authority may take photographs and/or video recordings of and/or sound recordings at, the Blenheim Palace Estate (including in the car parks and surrounding areas, as well as at events) which may feature visitors. By accepting these Entry Conditions, you agree that Blenheim Palace or any authorised third party may use such images, video recordings and/or sound recordings in perpetuity in any promotional, marketing, advertising or publicity material in any format and on any media channels whatsoever. You further agree that all copyright and any other intellectual property rights that subsist in or arise out of these materials shall be absolutely owned by Blenheim Palace or such authorised third party (subject to our agreement) as the case may be.
o We endeavour to put up signs to make visitors aware of when photography and/or filming and/or sound recording is taking place. If you do not wish to be photographed, filmed and/or recorded, please do not remain in the relevant area.
o CCTV cameras are used to assist in the proper running and operation of the Blenheim Palace Estate (including to assist with the safety and security of our visitors, staff and property). However, Blenheim Palace does not make any representation or give any assurance as to the extent of coverage provided by such cameras.
Section F - Car Parking
o Parking in designated car parks at the Blenheim Palace Estate is free of charge, except that for some events held at the Blenheim Palace Estate, a parking fee may apply.
o All car parking spaces, including those for coaches, are allocated on a first come first served basis and cannot be guaranteed.
o Motor homes, camper vans, caravans and vehicles of a similar nature are permitted within designated car parks at the Blenheim Palace Estate provided always that any gas supply to such vehicles is disconnected and such vehicles may not be left overnight unless Blenheim Palace’s prior written permission has been obtained. This permission in its original form will need to be produced prior to entry to the Blenheim Palace Estate.
o Vehicles are parked at the Blenheim Palace Estate at the owner’s risk. Blenheim Palace is not liable or responsible for any loss of or damage to visitors’ vehicles and no guarantee or assurance is given as to the security of visitors’ vehicles in the car park (including any contents left in vehicles).
o No vehicles are permitted to remain in the Blenheim Palace Estate outside of the Blenheim Palace Estate’s normal operating hours without the prior written permission of Blenheim Palace (which Blenheim Palace may refuse at its absolute discretion).
o Dogs or other pets should not under any circumstances whatsoever be left in any vehicle parked at the Blenheim Palace Estate. Blenheim Palace reserves the right to report to relevant bodies and authorities any animals that are left unsupervised or that are found to be in distress.
o Blenheim Palace reserves the right to recover the cost of repairs and/or replacement from you if our car park equipment is damaged by you, your vehicle or the passengers in your vehicle.
Section G - Child Safeguarding Policy Statement
o Blenheim Palace offers a family orientated experience, and we are committed to creating a safe and secure environment which ensures all children can enjoy themselves and that prevents children being at risk from any form of harm or abuse.
Section H - Our Liability
o All items, belongings and other property brought to the Blenheim Palace Estate by visitors shall be at visitors’ own risk and Blenheim Palace accepts no liability or responsibility for the loss of or damage to such property, save where due to our negligence or breach of duty. As such, Blenheim Palace strongly recommends that valuables are not brought to the Blenheim Palace Estate. Paid for storage lockers are available on site for use by visitors on a first come first served basis. Visitors may leave pushchairs and/or large luggage items at designated areas (as directed by Blenheim Palace personnel or staff).
o You acknowledge and agree that you will be liable to us for any loss or damage caused by you or anyone in your party to the Blenheim Palace Estate (or to any of its attractions or facilities) or for any illness, injury or death caused to any of our staff or representatives or to other visitors during your visit.
o You also agree that:
a. where you are the responsible/supervising adult, you shall also be liable for all children that you accompany; and
b. where you are the lead person for a group booking, you shall be jointly liable for any damage caused by the visitors in your group.
o If we fail to comply with these Entry Conditions, we are responsible for any loss or damage that you suffer provided that such loss or damage is a consequence and foreseeable result of our act or breach of these Entry Conditions, provided that you use all reasonable endeavours to limit such loss and/or damage. Loss or damage is foreseeable if either it is obvious that it will happen or if, at the time the contract was made, both we and you knew it might happen, for example, if you discussed it with us during the booking process. We will not be liable for any loss or damage caused by any event outside our reasonable control, including (but in no way limited to) fire, flood, storm, electrical outage or strikes, but we do not exclude or limit in any way our liability to you where it would be unlawful to do so.
o Nothing in this Section H shall restrict or otherwise affect your legal rights.
Section I - Donations, Gift Aid and Annual Pass Conversion
o When you purchase an admission ticket for the Palace, Park and Gardens, you are given the option to choose “Gift Aid” at the checkout stage. Gift Aid is a government scheme that allows charities to reclaim tax from donations. Please note that the Gift Aid declaration is available for Palace, Park and Gardens tickets only, and not other ticket types.
o All funds raised through admission ticket charges are invested in vital conservation and restorations projects to help protect our legacy. As a registered charity, we can treat admission ticket charges as donations, giving you the opportunity to Gift Aid and help conserve our World Heritage Site.
o These donations enable us to reclaim tax paid on your admission ticket through the government’s gift aid scheme. By making a Gift Aid declaration when you make a purchase of a Palace, Park and Gardens ticket, you confirm to us that you:
a. are a UK tax payer and have paid Income Tax and/or Capital Gains Tax for the current tax year (6 April to 5 April inclusive) that is at least equivalent to the amount that you are donating to us;
b. understand that other taxes such as VAT and Council Tax do not apply;
c. understand that Blenheim Palace will reclaim £0.25p of tax on every £1 donated; and
d. acknowledge that the admission tickets purchased with Gift Aid are for the benefit of you and members or your family who live at the same address only.
o If you make a Gift Aid declaration and purchase your Palace, Park and Gardens ticket directly from us, we will automatically convert your ticket into an Annual Pass at no extra cost as a thank you. The Annual Pass will be issued to the person making the donation and will be valid for a period of 12 months. Use of a Blenheim Palace Annual Pass is subject to the additional terms and conditions set out in Section J below. Please note, this offer of converting a Palace, Park and Gardens ticket into an Annual Pass is not available for Park and Gardens tickets, any tickets purchased through a third party or for tickets purchased as a gift. It is important to note that Annual Passes are available for purchase at Blenheim Palace’s then current rates without making a Gift Aid declaration.
Section J - Annual Pass Terms and Conditions
The issue and use of a Blenheim Palace Annual Pass or Blenheim Palace Privilege Pass (“Annual Pass”) is subject to the following terms and conditions (“Annual Pass Terms and Conditions”), which are in addition and supplemental to the Entry Conditions set out above in Sections A – I above. In the event of any inconsistency or conflict between these Annual Pass Terms and Conditions and the Entry Conditions set out in Sections A – I above in respect of the issue and use of an Annual Pass, these Annual Pass Terms and Conditions shall take precedence.
o Annual Passes are valid for a period of 12 months from the date of issue, subject to the operating calendars of the Blenheim Palace Estate and any applicable exclusion dates that apply at the relevant time.
o For details of those attractions and experiences at the Blenheim Palace Estate (together with retail benefits and discounts) which are part of the Annual Pass scheme, please visit our Website or contact us (using the details set out in Section A). All Annual Passes are purchased as individual Annual Passes.
o To use an Annual Pass, the passholder must show the Annual Pass at the admissions office or other authorised entry point at the Blenheim Palace Estate. Entry to the Blenheim Palace Estate by use of an Annual Pass will only be permitted if a valid Annual Pass can be presented. Please note that you may also be asked to present a second form of identification (such as a current photographic driver’s licence, passport or other ID card) in order to verify you as a valid Annual Pass holder in addition to presenting your Annual Pass.
o Any failure to present a valid Annual Pass (due to it having been lost, stolen or forgotten) or failure to provide sufficient identification evidence to verify you as an Annual Pass holder will result in a charge of the "on the day" admission rate applicable to the relevant attraction or experience at Blenheim Palace Estate (which will be non-refundable), save where you have contacted us in advance of your visit to inform us of your visit and the reason for being unable to present an Annual Pass. Any Annual Pass which has been lost, stolen and/or damaged should be reported immediately to Blenheim Palace.
o An Annual Pass will only be valid when it is used and/or presented by the named holder and it is within the applicable validity period. Annual Pass sharing is a breach of these Annual Pass Terms and Conditions and any attempted use of an Annual Pass by someone other than the named holder will result in access to the Blenheim Palace Estate being refused and the Annual Pass being revoked without a refund or other compensation.
o Annual Passes do not give access to, and entry is subject to additional applicable charges (such as entrance fees, car parking fees and/or booking fees), for entry into any events or attractions at the Blenheim Palace Estate where participation or entry are made subject to the purchase of separate tickets or payment of additional charges. Such events or attractions to which separate tickets and/or additional charges apply include, for example, the Salon Privé event typically held in September of each calendar year. Please note, Annual Passes do not include access to events organised by the Hospitality Team at Blenheim Palace.
o Annual Passes cannot be sold, loaned or given away to or used by a third party. An Annual Pass will automatically become void without a refund (or payment of other compensation) if sold, loaned or given away or if any attempt is made to sell, loan or give it away.
o Photocopies of an Annual Pass will not be accepted at the Blenheim Palace Estate and Blenheim Palace may refuse entry to any person attempting to use an Annual Pass which is not an original or no longer valid.
o Each Annual Pass remains the property of Blenheim Palace and can be withdrawn at any time. Passholders shall take all reasonable steps to ensure that their Annual Pass is kept secure at all times.
o An Annual Pass cannot be used in conjunction with any promotional offer, voucher or advance booking or with any discount or retail incentive unless otherwise stated by Blenheim Palace.
o [Annual Passes may only be cancelled in limited circumstances. If you purchased your Annual pass less than [14] days before the date of cancellation and you haven’t yet used your Annual Pass, we will refund the cost of the Annual Pass paid by you. If you have used your Annual Pass, we will deduct the then applicable day ticket costs to take into account such use and refund the balance to you. If you purchased your Annual Pass more than 14 days before the date of cancellation, we are unable to cancel or refund your Annual Pass.
o Under exceptional circumstances only (as determined by Blenheim Palace) and subject to sufficient evidence of such exceptional circumstances being supplied to us in writing, we may agree to temporarily suspend your Annual Pass for a period determined by us acting reasonably. Please note that it is within Blenheim Palace’s discretion to suspend an Annual Pass.]
o For the avoidance of doubt, the purchase, issue and use of Privilege Passes is subject to the Annual Pass Terms and Conditions.
K. Variation, Governing Law Jurisdiction
o Blenheim Palace reserves the right to vary these Entry Conditions and/or Annual Pass Terms and Conditions by giving ticketholders/passholders not less than thirty (30) days' written notice of such variation by using the details provided to Blenheim Palace when the ticketholder/passholder purchased their ticket/Annual Pass and by making a note of such changes available on the relevant terms and conditions page of the Website, so please review the Website periodically for changes. If you do not accept the amended Entry Conditions and/or Annual Pass Terms and Conditions, this may affect our ability to provide certain products and services to you.
o The laws of England apply to these Entry Conditions and Annual Pass Terms and Conditions, although if you are resident elsewhere you will retain the benefit of any mandatory protections given to you by the laws of that country.
o Any disputes will be subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts. English is the only language offered for the conclusion of your contract with us.

“PALACE & PLAY” TERMS & CONDITIONS (ANNUAL PASS/PRIVILEGE PASS/PALACE, PARK & GARDENS/PARK & GARDENS TICKET UPGRADE)
PLEASE READ THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS CAREFULLY BEFORE MAKING A BOOKING FOR BLENHEIM PALACE ADVENTURE PLAY
In these terms and conditions “Blenheim Palace” “we” “us” “our” means Blenheim Palace Heritage Foundation (company registration number 09430048 and registered charity number 1166164).
1. We have created an adventure play experience known as “Blenheim Palace Adventure Play” especially for children that encourages children and their families/guardians/accompanying adults to be active and have fun, feeding children’s inquisitiveness about the world around them.
2. All children (aged 16 and under) entering Blenheim Palace Adventure Play must be accompanied by an adult aged 18 or above at all times. Accompanying adults are responsible for the supervision and behaviour of children in their care at all times. Adults may not enter Blenheim Palace Adventure Play unless they are accompanying a child or children in their care.
3. We reserve the right in our discretion to refuse entry, ban from or to remove any persons from Blenheim Palace Adventure Play and our wider estate generally where, in our opinion, their presence or behaviour may affect the enjoyment and/or safety of other visitors, guests and/or staff, without any right to a refund or other compensation.
4. We reserve the right to alter or close experiences and facilities without prior notice for technical, operational reasons, inclement weather, in order to ensure the safety and security of visitors or for other reasons (in each case in our discretion) and no refunds or price reductions will be given in such circumstances. In the event of any such alteration or closure, we accept no responsibility for travel, accommodation or any other associated costs incurred by any visitor.
5. Opening times to Blenheim Palace Adventure Play are available on our website at Adventure Play opening times or on request, however, these may be subject to seasonal restrictions and other changes without notice, in our discretion. We may also restrict access in whole or in part to Blenheim Palace Adventure Play for capacity and health and safety reasons, in our discretion.
6. Please note that Blenheim Palace is an inclusive organisation and we value and embrace the diversity, inclusion and accessibility of our visitors and communities. Accordingly, we hold ‘Quiet Play Time’ at Blenheim Palace Adventure Play on the last Sunday of every month between 9.15am and 11.15am and all visitors and ticket holders are required to adhere to this.
7. Upon the arrival of you/your party at Blenheim Palace Adventure Play, a time slot will be allocated to you. Time slots are allocated on a first come, first served basis. There may be a wait time for the next available time slot depending on peak periods and capacity levels. You and those in your party must leave Blenheim Palace Adventure Play promptly at the end of your allocated time slot. Valid ticket holders will be issued with a coloured wristband by our operational team at the entrance to Blenheim Palace Adventure Play, in order to gain access to the experience.
8. All tickets for Blenheim Palace Adventure Play whether purchased from Blenheim Palace directly or online are purchased on a non-refundable and non-transferable basis. Such tickets are redeemable for Blenheim Palace Adventure Play on the date/time specified only. Tickets purchased for Blenheim Palace Adventure Play may not be used in conjunction with any other offer, promotion, voucher or exchanged for cash. Entrance to Blenheim Palace Adventure Play is not included with Annual Pass, Privilege Pass, Palace, Park & Gardens or Park & Gardens tickets and additional tickets must be purchased. You will also need a valid Annual Pass, Privilege Pass, Palace, Park & Garden’s or Park & Gardens ticket to enter Blenheim Palace Adventure Play. Once purchased, please keep your tickets safe as we cannot accept duplicates, copies or alternative tickets of any type.
9. At the end of the booking process you will be asked to confirm that you have read and agree to these terms and conditions and our general booking and entry conditions available on our website at https://www.blenheimpalace.com/terms-and-conditions/#palace-terms or on request, which also apply. In the event of any inconsistency or conflict between these terms and conditions and the general booking and entry terms and conditions, these terms and conditions shall take precedence.
10. The price of your tickets will be confirmed and are correct at the time of booking. Full payment is required at the time of booking.
11. Should you or a member of your party need to cancel your booking once it has been confirmed through no fault of ours, you must immediately advise us. We are unable to provide refunds in respect of such cancelled bookings. Occasionally, we have to make changes to or cancel confirmed bookings and reserve the right to do so. If we have to make a significant change or cancel to your booking, we will tell you as soon as possible and the applicable terms in our general booking and entry conditions at [insert LINK to relevant section in the booking and entry T&Cs dealing with refunds and cancellations] will apply. Tickets to Blenheim Palace Adventure Play will only be exchanged or refunded in Blenheim Palace’s discretion.
12. By purchasing tickets for Blenheim Palace Adventure Play and entering and participating in the experience, you acknowledge that your participation and the participation of any other people in your party/care is not without risk including, without limitation, accidents, slips, trips and falls.
13. By entering into Blenheim Palace Adventure Play, you accept that you have a duty to take reasonable steps to ensure your own safety and of those within your party, taking into account any personal medical conditions. All persons in and around Blenheim Palace Adventure Play must: (i) behave in a responsible and safe manner at all times; (ii) adhere to any applicable rules or requirements relating to Blenheim Palace Adventure Play; and (iii) adhere to any instructions or requests given by any member of our staff.
14. We will not be responsible for any injury, illness, death, loss or damage (including any inconvenience or distress) caused by you or any member of your party during the course of the Blenheim Palace Adventure Play experience which result from: (i) any action or failure by you or any member of your party; or (ii) any event beyond our reasonable control. This does not affect your legal rights.
15. Blenheim Palace accepts no responsibility for any personal belongings or property of any visitor.
16. For security reasons, we reserve the right to search the bag(s) or belongings of any visitor entering Blenheim Palace Adventure Play. Failure to comply with a request for such a search may result in entry being refused.
17. Photography and recordings at Blenheim Palace Adventure Play are permitted for non-commercial private use only. By accepting these terms and conditions, you agree not to intentionally photograph and/or capture video footage of any individual without that person’s permission and you must adhere to all photography/filming restrictions in place from time to time whilst within Blenheim Palace Adventure Play and our wider estate generally.
18. Dogs are not permitted in Blenheim Palace Adventure Play area (excluding guide dogs, hearing dogs and registered assistance dogs).
