Registration

Welcome to the Wiltshire Safeguarding Vulnerable People Partnership face to face and e-learning courses.

As of the 01.08.2021, delegates will need to register with new accounts due to us bringing in a new booking system.

To access either face to face training (events) or e-learning, please create a learning account, (if you don't already have one,) by registering your details below and selecting a Group that you belong to. You will then receive a Welcome Email with your login details. There will be a mandatory Cost Centre box for all Wiltshire Council staff to fill in when registering. If you are not a Wiltshire Council member of staff, please pop N/A in the box.

Please be aware, the new booking system will use your email address as the username so you’ll be unable to use the same email address as someone else to register with an account. Any setting that only has one generic email address for all staff will be unable to use this; staff will need to use their own personal email address if they don’t have their own work email address.

Please note, there are charges for some of our face to face events for those agencies that do not contribute to the SVPP.

Full details of the courses and charges can be found in the course descriptions during the application process. There is also a training page on the SVPP website - please follow this link to access this: Wiltshire Safeguarding Vulnerable People Partnership (SVPP) - Home page (wiltshiresvpp.org.uk)

E-Learning

E-learning can be accessed from any computer connected to the internet. Each module will take up to 2 hours to complete and you can work through the interactive modules at your own pace, dipping into them when it is convenient. Once logged in, click on the Learning icon on your Dashboard. Once selected, you will have up to 6 weeks to complete your chosen course. The e-learning courses are currently free to complete however there is a non completion charge of £30.

Face To Face Training (Events)

Priority will be given to staff from agencies and organisations that contribute to the SVPP and we aim to ensure all events have appropriate multi-agency representation. Before you apply for a place on any of the events please discuss with your manager or Designated Safeguarding Lead. They will check that the event you are applying for is appropriate for your role and that you have fulfilled any pre- requisite courses.

Please only apply for one date per course. You will receive a confirmation email once your application has been checked and authorised by the SVPP. This process is to ensure that the right people are on the right events and that any pre-requisites have been fulfilled.

Please note: If you attend an event without confirmation of a place you will not be accepted on the day.

Cancellation Policy

You can cancel a place on an event up to 10 working days without charge via your Virtual College account. If a place on a event is cancelled after this time or you do not attend on the day the charge will now be £75 for a one day course and £50 for a half day course.
