Altenew June 2019 Stamp/Die/Stencil Release Blog Hop + Giveaway

Hello friends!
Warning: Super-heavy photo post
s
Yay, it's June Release Blog Hop from Altenew!

I am super excited to share 4 projects with you.
If you arrive from the blog of Nathalie DeSousa you are in the right place!

All the details about this blog hop, please visit Altenew Card Blog and/or Altenew Scrapbook Blog
I am sharing the projects based on the feature products and have listed them in no particular order.

1. feature products: Peaceful Reverie Stamp & StencilSentiment Strips
Altenew-PeacefulReverieStamp-Stencil-SentimentStrips-Virginia

This one layer card is definitely one-of a-kind! With the coordinating stencil, I was able to mask all the images. I even used the Ombre Stripes Stencil for that extra lines!

Altenew-PeacefulReverieStamp-Stencil-SentimentStrips-Virginia#3

I love the the floral images in this set as the 2nd layering stamp has these amazing dotty details. You will be amazed with the stamp designs. Even better, it is not fussy to line up 3 various shapes and sizes of floral images at all.

2. feature product: Pressed Leaf Die, Sentiment Strips
Altenew-PressedLeafDie-SentimentStrips-Virginia#1

This die allows you to die cut partially. Using colored card stock is definitely a good idea!
I chose black and white card stock as they are quite striking together.

Altenew-PressedLeafDie-SentimentStrips-Virginia#2

I added the Golden Edge Washi Tape and inked up the leave petals with Enchanted Gold Pigment Ink.

I also added Golden String Washi Tape for the accent. I love the sentiment from Sentiment Strips
and thought it goes nicely with this encouragement card.

3. feature product: Mid Century frame Die,  Forever In Love Stamp Set
Alteenw-MidCenturyFrameDie-FoweverInLove-Virginia#1

This is likely one of the coolest die....the intricacy is astounding!
The white-embossed floral image on vellum is from Forever In Love Stamp Set.

The die and stamp fit nicely within the circle!
I love the Summer Garden Paper Pack so much that I decided to use this die to show it off.

With the pattern paper, this card really took little time to create. The die shows off so fabulously!

4. Feature product: Leaf Clusters Stamp & Die Bundle, Pattern Power Stamp Set
Altenew-LeaftClustersStampDie-PowerPattern-Virginia#2
This leafy design reminds me a Limoncello package I saw in Italy! Do you get that vibe?

First of all, I had the MOST fun stamping these leaves! I used various Altenew inks and spritzed with water. Love that about Altenew inks!
Altenew-LeaftClustersStampDie-PowerPattern-Virginia#4

Once I stamped and die cut the Leaf Clusters Stamp & Die Bundle,
I arranged the leaves around the circle dot border. The Pattern Power Stamp Set comes with
assorted patterns that you can stamp any types /design as you wish.

This card really is very Italian to me.... I love how this turned out.

Linda BL said...

Love all your cards. The ones that stand out for me are the colorful Peaceful Reverie and the Leaf Clusters. In the Peaceful Reverie card, I love how you combined the ombré striped background with the stippled flowers. The contrast is striking. The leaf cluster card has the same contrast-- solid leaves with the dotted background which looks amazing and yes, very Italian.

Annalisa said...

The stippled flowers are really interesting, and I'm happy to see you use them. They give a halftone vibe that I think is cool. I also love black, white, and gold in any combo, so that card makes me happy. But I think my favorite is the limoncello leaves card (as I have decided it is now called). So many bright, summer colors. Thanks for sharing all these great ideas with us!

Mirella said...

Wonderful, Virginia, I especially love the third one- very unique!

It takes too much thinking to decide which card I like the best! I can say that I am most impressed with your italian card. The coloring on the leaves looks awesome!

Sweet creations you made for us :) The gray striped background implies: white-washed fence which is always a warm thought; the pressed leaf in gold over black is stunning, especially with the gold string washi; the way you spotlighted the pattern paper was nicely done; and yes, the Italian card does remind me of Limoncello, Haha!
Thank you for the inspiring artworks.
