Thank you for contributing your valuable time to complete this short survey. Your feedback will help us to take stock of progress and challenges in the collective implementation of the OECD DAC Recommendation on the Humanitarian-Development-Peace Nexus. It will also help us identify and highlight issues requiring strategic attention in order to improve the implementation of this Recommendation. More background on the survey’s purpose can be found here.

In completing this survey, we would be extremely grateful if you could share your honest information, assessment, and thoughtful suggestions. It will take 20 to 40 minutes to complete. Please consider the time filling in this survey as an interview you would have with the OECD INCAF secretariat, and a contribution to better aid effectiveness. In particular, we encourage you to use the text boxes to add context to your answers, which would greatly enhance our understanding and our ability to provide useful recommendations for policy directions in the future.

In return, we will treat any personal information as confidential. We will never associate a survey respondent’s name or ID with their survey response in any kind of reporting. Survey results will always be aggregated—combined together and presented as a group. Comments submitted will also never be associated with a respondent’s name or ID; however, the comments might be reported verbatim.

In this survey, the term “HDP Nexus” stands for the “Humanitarian-Development-Peace Nexus”, meaning the interlinkages between humanitarian, development and peace actions across the coordination, programming and financing dimensions. Completing the survey does not require having read the DAC Recommendation on the HDP Nexus, but you can access it here.

The survey does not cover the full scope of the DAC Recommendation on the HDP Nexus. It focuses on those areas of the Recommendation where your feedback would provide an important additional perspective beyond the information gathered through the literature review, interviews and focus group discussions. We thank you once again for your contribution to this study, which we hope will in turn contribute to better and joined-up engagement in fragile contexts.
