We can give you suggestions on where to look for opportunities in your industry and support with preparing for interviews or assessment centres, including arranging mock interviews to help you practice.

Based on your preferences, you will see relevant events and opportunities through MDXworks and wider.
MDXworks hosts regular pop-up webinars with our employer partners and Faculty Employability Advisers covering a wide range of topics.
We also run two annual careers fairs, including Gradstock festival (autumn term) and CareerConnect (spring term).
Keep an eye out for more information on these events and sessions throughout the year. You can revisit most of our live sessions either on MDXPlay or on our YouTube channel.
You might want to choose to work during your studies to earn a bit of extra money or to gain some work experience.
In either case, you need make sure you know your rights from understanding the legal aspects of being a worker to ensuring you can read your payslip, and where to go to help and support in the work place.
