Where’s Wally? Spooky Museum Search!

In October 2020, we invited families to join a spooky search for Wally.

Following on from Where’s Wally? The Big Museum Hunt in 2019, we worked with Walker Books to celebrate the release of Where’s Wally? Spooky Spotlight Search, and encourage families to get back to museums during the October half term.

Around 36,500 people joined the search for Wally at over 70 museums across the UK between October and December 2020, in accordance with social distancing measures.

Families could pick up an activity sheet and find Wally hidden around the museum. They were challenged to spell out a spooky phrase with the letters alongside Wally and receive a special “I found Wally!” bookmark.

We gave away three copies of Where’s Wally? Spooky Spotlight Search to families who shared their pictures on social media using our hashtag #WallySpookyMuseumSearch.

One lucky family also won an ArtFund Family Membership and a bundle of Where’s Wally? Goodies in our grand prize draw competition.
