This is a two-day training course on understanding and evaluating measurement uncertainty. The course includes an introduction to the philosophy behind the Guide to the Expression of Uncertainty in Measurement (GUM) and the first Supplement to the GUM, which is concerned with using a Monte Carlo method for uncertainty evaluation.
