Report and fix inappropriate content

1. Go to Google Maps.
2. Search for a business by its name or address.
3. Select the business from the search results.
4. In the panel on the left, scroll to the “Review summary” section.
5. Under the average rating, click [number of] reviews.
6. Scroll to the review you'd like to report.
7. Click Menu   Report .
8. In the window that appears, complete the form.
9. Click Submit.

If a review you wrote has been removed, you may be able to fix it yourself. Edit your review to follow Google review policies — for example, you might remove a phone number or URL from the review.

Google uses machine learning algorithms to remove reviews that are probably policy-violating, and sometimes legitimate reviews are inadvertently removed.

You can report photos and videos for removal from Maps on a computer or mobile device.

Computer

1. Go to Google Maps.
2. Search for the business and select it from the results.
3. In the panel on the left, click any photo or video. If there are multiple photos or videos, scroll through them until you see the photo you’d like to report.
4. At the top left, click Menu    Report a problem . 
   • Tip: At the top right, if you find Report , click that icon to report the image.
5. In the window that appears, complete the form. 
6. Click Submit.

Mobile

To report a photo or video for removal from Maps with the Google Maps app:

1. Open the Google Maps app.
2. Search for the business and select it from the results.
3. Swipe to the right until you see the photo or video you’d like to report.
4. Tap the photo or video  Report  at the bottom right.
5. In the window that appears, complete the form. 
6. Tap Submit.

1. Next to the question or answer, tap More .
2. Tap Report question or Report answer.
