MyHud support

The student hub, MyHud, is your portal to a range of essential resources which will help with university life.  At the iPoint, we are happy to help you access its tools and services, including updating your address details*. If there is something you are struggling with and we are not directly able to help, we will be able to get you in touch with the people who can.

MyHud can be used to check details such as:

• Timetable
• Attendance
• Extension requests
• Personal details

*Most students can amend their own address details, with the exception of international students, whose home addresses can only be amended by a University staff member at the International Office. Details such as name, title or gender need to be changed by the Student Records team, or the International Office.

Financial support

At the iPoint, we can assist you by providing basic financial support advice, including information on the Access to Learning fund. If you are returning a completed Access to Learning Fund form, please scan this and send to studentfinancialsupport@hud.ac.uk along with any additional evidence that Student Finance may request from you.

We can also help you get in touch or make an appointment with Student Finance if their helpdesk is closed. If you would like to contact them directly, you can email them at sfo@hud.ac.uk.

International students

As an international student, we can help you by assisting with pre-enrolment, and provide you with services such as replacement student ID cards, proof of study letters and appointments with specialist services. We can also you offer basic advice on where to register with the police and other routine enquiries. For all other non-academic related enquiries, such as advice on immigration, visas, changing personal details, fees and funding advice, you should access the International Office for support.

Directions and campus tours

Our Customer Support Advisors and Student Associate team are on hand to provide students, staff members or visitors with directions around the campus.

We are also on happy to provide prospective students or visitors with a campus tour (subject to availability).  If you would like to arrange a campus tour, please contact us through hudhelp, by email at ipoint@hud.ac.uk or by telephoning us on 01484 471001.
