Welcome to Cardiff High School Sixth Form Virtual Open Evening 2021-2022.

Cardiff High School is an inclusive and supportive environment for the next stage in your educational journey and we pride ourselves on the high quality of pastoral care we offer. This is a safe and happy environment in which to learn.

Our sixth form also enjoys a proud tradition of excellence in nurturing the achievement of all learners. Taught by subject specialists who are passionate and knowledgeable, the quality of teaching and learning at Cardiff High School is exceptional. We encourage aspiration and support pupils to achieve and to excel in whatever they choose to do. We offer over 25 subjects at A level with the option of Skills Challenge and have outstanding success rates in terms of students securing their individual chosen pathways. This includes progress to employment, apprenticeships, Oxbridge, and Russell Group Universities.

The sixth form community at Cardiff High School is vibrant and varied and we encourage you to become involved in learning outside the classroom and within the community. There will be numerous occasions for you to develop your skills and experience enrichment opportunities.

We recommend that you watch Our Learning Together video and listen to the welcome videos from the Headteacher and senior staff as these will give you a sense of what life is like at Cardiff High School.
