I am a macro econometrician, particularly interested in exploring machine learning techniques for the analysis of macroeconomic data.
I am currently working on applications for inflation forecasting and the transmission of monetary policy. In my job market paper, for example, I study how the effect of monetary policy changes across firms.
I am finishing a Ph.D. in Economics at the University of Warwick, and I joined the Bank of England in July 2023.
Prior to my Ph.D., I pursued Engineering at the École Centrale de Lyon, France, and at the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil.
