5th SUITMA International Seminar, 

10th May2024 (Friday), Toruń

On behalf of the Research Team EF Microbiology, Soil science, Food quality and Agricultural genetics and (OBSIDIAN)  , Bydgoszcz-Toruń Branch of the Polish Soil Science Society and the Faculty of Earth Sciences and Spatial Management of the Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń, we cordially invite you to the SUITMA International Seminar, focused on current problems of urban, industrial, traffic, mining and military areas soils research. 


Date: 10th May 2024 (Friday).

Venue: Faculty of Earth Sciences and Spatial Management, Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń, ul. Lwowska 1, auditorium 135.

Format: hybrid (in-person and online).

We invite you to submit your proposed topics for papers and posters.

Deadline for registration with presentation (abstracts up to 300 words) - April 15th, 2024.

Deadline for registration without presentation - May 5th, 2024.

Information on the qualification and form of presentation will be sent by April 22nd, 2024.

Participation in the seminar is free. All lectures will be delivered in English.

Oral presentations:

The seminar session presentations will generally take 20 minutes (including 5 min Q/A).

Link to the online presentations (MS Teams platform) will be send a few days before the seminar. 

All oral presentations saved in pdf format should be sent to sulik@umk.pl until 5th May 2024.  


Poster presentations:

Poster can be prepared in any graphical program or Microsoft Office Power Point, saved in pdf, and send to sulik@umk.pl  until 5th May 2024. 
All posters will be available online for all registered participants. 

Each poster author will give a very short (not longer than 5 minutes) oral presentation (maximum 3-5 slides, MS Power Point).

W imieniu ID-UB EF Microbiology, Soil science, Food quality and Agricultural genetics and (OBSIDIAN), Oddziału Bydgosko-Toruńskiego Polskiego Towarzystwa Gleboznawczego oraz Wydziału Nauk o Ziemi i Gospodarki Przestrzennej Uniwersytetu Mikołaja Kopernika w Toruniu serdecznie zapraszamy na Międzynarodowe Seminarium Naukowo-Dydaktyczne SUITMA, poświęcone aktualnym problemom badań gleb obszarów miejskich, przemysłowych, komunikacyjnych, kopalnianych i wojskowych.

Zapraszamy do zgłaszania propozycji tematów referatów oraz posterów.

Termin nadsyłania zgłoszeń wraz ze streszczeniami (do 300 słów) - 15 grudnia 2022 r.

Termin rejestracji bez wystąpienia - 5 stycznia 2022 r.

Informacja na temat zakwalifikowania i formy prezentacji  zostanie przesłana do 23 grudnia 2022.

Seminarium odbędzie się w formie hybrydowej.

Termin i miejsce seminarium: 13 stycznia 2022 r.,

Wydział Nauk o Ziemi i Gospodarki Przestrzennej, Uniwersytet Mikołaja Kopernika w Toruniu, ul. Lwowska 1, audytorium 135.

Udział w seminarium jest bezpłatny. Wszystkie wykłady będą wygłoszone w j. angielskim.
