Raised on Giabal and Jarowair land in Toowoomba, ‘Australia’, I am a creative legal scholar and teacher presently holding positions at Birkbeck Law School, Institute of Advanced Legal Studies and Oxford Centre for Socio-Legal Studies. I co-founded the Centre for Research on Race and Law at Birkbeck. My work sits at the intersection of legal and political thought, geography, feminist theory and postcolonial studies. I am particularly interested in the malleability of the concept of property and how it might reshaped for a better world. Before coming to academia, I worked as a judge’s associate and a lawyer.
