Volunteer with Us
Salford Pride is a leading LGBTQ+ charity and continues to grow, delivering more projects each year, expanding into new activities that attract guests from across Greater Manchester and beyond. We are expanding our team to continue to see Salford Pride flourish and have great opportunities available for people to get involved. All our positions are voluntary and previous experience in a similar role is beneficial but not a requirement.

“I first joined Salford Pride to gain some experience, after a few months I grew a passion for helping LGBTQ
+ people and wanted to support the charities’ growth in order to do that. The best thing about volunteering at Salford Pride is meeting like minded people, who I have been able to learn a lot from.

Salford Pride have many opportunities for people to get involved with our organisation, our committee roles require our volunteers to be able to commit 4-6 hours a week assisting Salford Pride to deliver our charities work. Volunteers that join our team will be required to attend two committee meetings a month. General volunteering
As we countdown to this year’s Pink Picnic (Sat 22nd June), we are looking for volunteers to help us make this year’s event be the biggest and best yet. If you’d like to join us, please apply below.
Don’t have the time to commit as a committee member but would love to be involved, why not join Salford Pride as a general volunteer, supporting our team with the organisation and delivery of our campaigns, events or projects as a Salford Pride volunteer. Our general volunteer role gives local people the opportunity to get involved and commit as much or as little time supporting our team with tasks helping to spread the workload.
