Multi-Application feature in 

Quote & Apply 

As you know, we regularly ask for your feedback on how we can continue to improve the way we do things. And where possible, we look to implement suggestions that will benefit you and your clients. We receive many accolades about Quote & Apply - our online application system - and some of you also told us how a multiple application option could help make it even better. 


So, we’re delighted to let you know that we are now piloting a solution. Now, when you need to submit multiple applications for the same client(s), our new, time-saving Multi-Application feature is available for you to use!

How it works

Input key information once


To save you time when you’re submitting more than one application for the same client(s), our new Multi-Application feature in Quote & Apply removes the need for you to input a client’s key information more than once. Simply input the key information on the first case and the system will automatically pre-populate each subsequent application for you, up to a maximum of five applications! 

What this means for you:


  • Saves time – you only need to input key client information, including their underwriting answers, once; and the system automatically pre-populates the information for each added case.
  • Consolidated underwriting decisions – full cover limits are assessed across all the cases together, at the same time. So, you have more transparency on all accepted applications.
  • Reduces risk of error – less information for you to manually key into the system.
Your application journey is even easier

Your application journey is largely the same except for some minor changes at the start, where you need to select the Multiple Application option, the types of cover required and provide the client information that will be the same for each case.


You should also establish whether or not you will be using our Electronic Signature (eSignature) process, as whatever you select for the first application will automatically apply to each subsequent application.   

                   

  • As usual, the workflow at the top of the screen will guide you through the process.
  • No changes to the underwriting phase except that you only need to answer the underwriting questions for each life once!
  • You can key in separate bank details and instructions for each application.
  • Premium and commission information will be displayed for each application.
  • The underwriting decision for each applicant will be displayed on one screen.
  • Where eSignature is selected, each signatory will receive just one email with the link to access each document they need to sign.
  • You can save the multi-application to your sales pipeline and return to it again, just like you do with a single application.
  • You have the option to delete a case during the application journey.
  • As always, each case is treated as a separate application with separate contracts and its own documentation.
