Student Support and Success are seeking to appoint an administrator to conduct the invoicing process of the support provided under the Disabled Students’ Allowances (DSA) provision. Additionally, the role will provide administrative support to the Students and Money team, primarily focussing on the Bursary Administration Service (BAS) and the University’s Student Support Fund.
The post holder will support the Students and Money team in ensuring that financial support information on the University’s inter- and intranet is accurately maintained. The role will offer back up support to the Wellbeing Administrators (Disability and Mental Wellbeing) at peak times. The successful post holder will also be required to represent the Student Support and Success department at University Open Events.
The successful candidate will have excellent administrative and organisational skills and be able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. The successful candidate will be experienced in working with financial data, for example, invoicing or handling financial information, and will have experience of dealing with customers in a frontline position. Experience of working in Higher Education is desirable, as well as an understanding of the emotional and physical needs of disabled students.
