Digital Skills for the Workplace

COURSE START DATE: Wednesday 28 October

COURSE DURATION: 09:30 - 15:30 (the course will be delivered via an online Zoom session)

Course Overview This exciting course is ideal for someone who is not used to using technology in the workplace. It is designed to support development in basic digital skills and encourage progression into roles where digital literacy is required,

Participants will discover a range of Digital Skills at an introductory level.

During the course participants will:

• Learn how to use a computer and some of the basic features, functions, and commands.

• Learn how to search for information using advanced search techniques.

• Look at creating online accounts and how to do this safely.

• Develop your online skills to look at job opportunities and how best to get the best online profile.

Eligibility

To be eligible to attend this course you must be a resident of Origin Housing.

Please note: as this course is being delivered via a virtual classroom learners will require access to a WIFI connection and a laptop, tablet, or mobile device.
