This guide aims to show the available evidence of the different authorized treatments for IMID (immune-mediated inflammatory disease) that affect dermatology, rheumatology and the digestive system in special situations such as pregnancy and lactation, and their influence on the fertility of patients.

Currently, thanks to the enormous therapeutic arsenal available and the studies in clinical practice, pregnancy, lactation and fertility consultations are topics to be addressed by the multidisciplinary teams in charge of the treatment of these patients. The use of these drugs raises many questions for women with birth desire or already pregnant about whether they should maintain or withdraw treatment, the risk it poses to newborns and their mothers, and long-term safety.
