Call for Abstract

Abstract Submission

The Scientific Committee of the 1st International Congress Update on Management of Head and Neck Paragangliomas cordially invites you to submit abstracts to share the most up-to-date research works and interesting cases from around the world.

Abstract Submission Guidelines


  • Deadline for abstract submission: June 2, 2023
  • Presenting authors must register as participants
  • Abstracts must be submitted online via the website only. Abstracts submitted by e-mail will not be accepted
  • Abstracts must not have been previously published nor presented as a poster
  • Abstracts must be organized into four sections:

- Aims/Objectives

- Materials/Methods 

- Results 

- Conclusion

  • Abstracts may be submitted for:

- Oral presentation

- Poster

  • The Scientific Committee will determine whether the abstract will be accepted for oral presentation, taking into account the author’s preference
  • Maximum word limit is 500, excluding the title, with a maximum of 10 author names. Abstracts should not contain illustrations, images or graphs, but a single table is permitted within the constraints of the word limit.The same person may serve as a presenting author on up to 2 abstracts.
  • The presenting author must ensure that all co-authors are aware of the content of the abstract and agree to its submission and is required to disclose any conflict of interests in the submission form.

Submission of an abstract acknowledges acceptance for publication, under both digital and printed forms, in the official Congress Booklet and in a Special Issue of “Cancers” dedicated to the Congress, as decided by the Scientific Committee.


NOTE: Abstracts submitted by email, fax or post will NOT be accepted. The Congress organizers will not accept responsibility for any abstracts that have not been properly submitted according to the instructions.
