Due to my collaboration on the Hattler album "Mallberry Moon" 20 years ago, I not only had all the files on my computer, but also a great desire to create classic remixes from these wonderful songs. So first I threw everything out, except for the voices and hooks. Then I rebuilt tracks with machines and my own approach. Today you can clearly hear my enthusiasm for hip hop and broken beats (New Sectors Movement, Jazzanova), for electro-pop à la Zoot Woman and an extremely reduced minimalism. I worked with a Sequential Drumtraks and the Vermona DRM1 rhythm machines, a DX-7 for the basses and the Roland JX-3P for analog warmth.
Now is the time to polish the dusty pearl, let it shine in the dark times and please the die-hard Hattler fans.
Most importantly, the full proceeds will be donated to Médecins Sans Frontières for humanitarian aid.
