Donate to Newport's Christmas Cwtch Appeal

A group of volunteers, supported by Newport Live, are asking for donations from local people and businesses. Our appeal aims to support the most vulnerable children and young people In Newport, linked to Newport City Council’s Children’s Services, where 200 individuals have been identified as needing support this Christmas.

There has been an increase in need and demand since last year, when we raised over £1500. Any help from local people, businesses and communities would be greatly appreciated. All donations, great and small, via this Go Fund Me Page will support a group of volunteers and staff to purchase various essential items and Christmas gifts for those that need help the most in Newport.

This winter, as we all know, will be even more challenging because of the rising cost of fuel, heating and the additional pressures of the costs of living. Many will struggle to keep warm during these winter months or even afford to have something at Christmas.

Please help us to brighten and ease the burden for a child, young person or family this Christmas.
