ZIG-Talks on 18 April and 25 April about different aspects of ‘Implementation research in global public health’

RKI’s Centre for International Health Protection (ZIG) has hosted public lectures on present issues in global health (‘ZIG-Talks’) since 2019. The current lecture series, running from autumn 2023 to summer 2024, asks international experts to address different aspects of ‘Implementation research in global public health’.

In the upcoming hybrid event on 18 April, Alexandre Delamou from Guinea will present on ‘Implementation science research on the National Community Health Policy in Guinea: a sequential mixed methods study’. He heads the African Center of Excellence for the Prevention and Control of Communicable Diseases at the Gamal Abdel Nasser University of Conakry in Guinea (CEA- PCMT). One week later on 25 April, Andrea Winkler and Clarissa Prazeres da Costa (Technical University of Munich) will add to this by giving an online presentation on ‘Schistosomiasis drug development and implementation’.
