On 1 February 2024, clashes renewed between the Sudanese Armed Forces (SAF) and Rapid Support Forces (RSF) in Al Fasher Town of Al Fasher locality, North Darfur. As a result of the violence, five individuals were reportedly killed, and 21 others were injured. Field teams reported that the event led to widespread displacement.
