Ford Britain TrustFord Britain Trust special attention to projects focusing on education, environment, children, the disabled, youth activities and projects that provide clear benefits to the local communities close to their locations.
You can apply for contributions to capital projects, capital expenditure items and vehicles.
Area: UK
Suitable for: Charities and not-for profit organisations (excluding CICs)
Grant size: From £250 and up to a maximum of £3000 Deadline: They are accepting applications until 31st July for consideration in September/October 2023.
GSK Health Inequalities programmeGSK knows that a huge amount of the work around tackling health inequalities is carried out by very small charities working in their communities. They also know it can be hard for these organisations to access unrestricted funding and support for their leaders. This is particularly true for organisations who themselves may experience disadvantage, such as those led by people of the global majority, disabled and LGBTQ+ people.
Suitable for: Registered charities with an annual income between £20k-£150k
Grant size: Up to £10,000. Successful candidates will also access a leadership development programme. Deadline: 5pm on Monday 14 August 2023
The Elephant TrustThe Trust offers grants to artists and for new, innovative visual arts projects. It aims to make it possible for artists and those presenting their work to undertake and complete projects when confronted by lack of funds.
Priority is given to artists in the fine arts and small organisations and galleries who should submit well-argued, imaginative proposals for making or producing new work or exhibitions.
Area: UK
Grant size: Up to £2,000, but larger grants of up to £5,000 may be considered. Deadline: 15th October 2023
TNLCF's Bringing People Together programmeThe funding will support projects run by charities, voluntary and community organisations, CICs, CIOs and statutory bodies that build stronger connections across communities, and improve the infrastructure and conditions that are needed to strengthen these connections.
The funding will enable organisations to deliver collaborative projects across at least two countries in the UK that focus on equality, diversity and inclusion, particularly amongst people of colour, disabled people, LGBTQ+ people, and asylum seekers and refugees.
Grant size: Up to £1,000,000, TNLCF expects that most of the funding will go to projects that request between £200,000 and £500,000. Deadline: Applications can be made at any time.
Nisa Pride Pot for small LGBTQ+ groupsNisa’s Making a Difference Locally (MADL) charity is launching a Pride Pot worth £50,000 to donate through Nisa retailers to support LGBTQ+ community groups and charities. Nisa retailers will have until June 2024 to utilise the funding pot ensuring donations can be used all year round. Contact your local Nisa for more details, using the Store Locator.
Grant size: Up to £500. Deadline: On a rolling basis until June 2024, or until all funds are allocated.
LGBT+ Futures Bi FundThanks to a partnership with BiPride UK, and the research conducted by our Community Consultants, we are delighted to open this small grants programme specifically for Bi Organisations across the UK.
There is a total pot of £5,000 available to award, which will be distributed as community grants of up to £250.
Funding for charities led by and working with d/deaf and disabled people experiencing poverty can apply for a three-year unrestricted grant.
Area: England and Wales Grant size: Up to £75,000
Suitable for: Registered charities with an income between £25,000 and £500,000 Deadline: 31st August 2023
Funding to Improve Online Digital Presence for Small Charities Fat Beehive Foundation invites small UK charities (with incomes less than £1 million) to apply for website and or digital products grants (£2,500). The next deadline is Friday 29th September 2023 at 5pm.
Every 3 months the Fund will share £15,000 between five applicants that are passionate about making a difference to people, their community or the environment. To be eligible, applicants will have to have had an income of less than £50,000 in the last 12 months.
Area: UK Deadline: The next round closes 15th Sept 2023.
Funding can go towards: Improving wellbeing | community participation in the arts | preventing or reducing the impact of poverty | supporting marginalised groups and promoting equality | improving biodiversity and green spaces | enabling participation in physical activity | responding to the climate emergency and promoting sustainability | increasing access to outdoor space.

Moto Motorway GrantsProject funding to benefit to local communities across the UK. Community organisations should have the endorsement of a Moto colleague and operate within a 15-mile radius of a Moto Motorway Services site

The Tesco Bags of Help Programme supports local good causes that focus on helping children, young people and their families across the UK. Grants size: £1,500
Chances for ChildrenIndividually tailored grants for children and young people who have experienced a crisis impacting their wellbeing and educational engagement. Funding for items and activities to help improve children and young people’s wellbeing and increase their capacity to engage in education and learning.
7stars Foundation project funding (Youth) Key funding priorities of The 7stars foundation: Abuse; Addiction; Homelessness; Child Carers.
Grant size: £2,500
Pixel FundFunding is available for (only) registered charities that focus on mental-health-related matters to support projects that promote the mental health and wellbeing of children and young adults (U26). Organisations should contact the Pixel Fund in the first instance. Eligible organisations will be invited to submit a full application.
Area: UK.
Grant size: Usually between £2,500 and £5,000.
Deadline: Accepting applications on an ongoing basis.
B&Q FoundationProviding grants for a wide range of charities who are looking for funding to improve or develop spaces that benefit their local communities.

Grant size: Up to £5,000
Suitable for: Registered Charities only
Rayne FoundationThe Rayne Foundation’s open grants programme is focused exclusively on the following four areas of special interest: Young people’s improved mental health; arts as a tool to achieve social change; improved quality of life for carers and for older people; better opportunities for refugees and asylum seekers.
Area: UK
Grant size: Between £10,000 - £20,000 (up to 3 years).
Applications from within the fields of Heritage and Conservation, Social and Criminal Justice, and Overseas for projects that address complex problems in an innovative way.
Main grants up to £25,000 for projects over one to three years
Small Grants up to £7,000
Suitable for: UK registered charities
Community Business Crowdmatch to support new or existing community businesses across England, responding to the Covid-19 crisis. Match-funding each £1 raised, to a maximum of £10,000.
The Hedley Foundation Small to mid-sized UK registered charities may apply for grants up to £5,000. Please note this application must be submitted by post.
Panel meets next 26th July 2023 and 28th October 2023, and applications should be submitted at least 6 weeks prior.
Return to play: Active Together (Sports)Up to £10,000 in match funding to help clubs and organisations in England set up and run crowdfunding campaigns related to COVID-19.
The Steel Charitable TrustFunding for charities including CIOs with a charitable purpose that falls into one of the five core categories: Arts and Heritage | Education | Environment | Health | Social or Economic Disadvantage.
Minimum grant size is £10,000. Awards of more than £25,000 are rare.
Area: UK wide
Suitable for: Groups with an income over £50,000
The Weaver's Company (Youth) Helping disadvantaged young people (aged between 5-30). Organisations should be registered charities or in the process of registration. Exceptionally, applications from CICs may be considered.
Veolia FoundationAwards grants towards projects by not-for-profits and charities to create or improve buildings or outside spaces for the benefit of the community.
Grant size: £10,000 - £75,000
Screwfix FoundationSupports projects that will fix, repair, maintain and improve properties and community. facilities for those in need throughout the UK, with grants up to £5,000
