March 2022 Monthly Newsletter

Welcome to our Monthly Newsletter!

Hi families!

Now that spring is just around the corner we look forward to some fun outdoor activities, and lighter days. This March we have a insightful and engaging programme of activities celebrating LGBT+ Adoption and Fostering week, as well as an outing to the Whitworth Art Gallery for our Monthly Get-together. All information can be found, as always on our dates for your dairy below or on our Proud 2 b Parents events page. Please ensure you book early to avoid disappointment.

If you haven't heard already, Proud 2 b Parents has recently joined the Rainbow Lottery to be one of their many good causes. We would really appreciate your support!! All you need to do is buy a £1 lottery ticket, and 50p of your ticket goes towards our amazing services, whilst 10p goes towards other LGBT+ charities. All this loveliness, while you get the chance to win £25,000. For more information about how it works head along to our cause page. Please play today, good luck!

Katie our amazing Community Engagement Worker will be leaving us on the 1st April, for pastures new, as she takes up her degree to become a Midwife. Katie has supported and developed our services since starting with us in Autumn 2020 but due to the pandemic it only feels like she has been with us a short while. We wish her lots of luck in her new venture, but we're sure we will see her at the various meet ups in between lectures.

As always Proud 2 b Parents is always on hand to offer support, information and signposting. If you do have any questions or would like some support, please do reach out and ask for it. We are always on hand to help.

Take care,
