Dear Friends,

Now more than ever, LGBT people and our allies need the skills, tools and confidence to achieve inclusion at home, at work and in the community.

This week, in honour of International Day Against Homophobia, Biphobia and Transphobia (IDAHOBIT), we are proud to launch the Pride in Practice Training Academy, an online curriculum of LGBT training modules. This service is for anyone who wants to increase their knowledge and confidence of LGBT inclusion at home, at work and in the community and includes the opportunity to become an accredited Pride in Practice Champion.

The Training Academy is open to individuals as well as businesses, and covers a range of topics including trans and non-binary inclusion, being an LGBT advocate in the community, and intersectionality in practice.

Pride in Practice is a nationally recognised LGBT inclusion programme. Having worked for almost a decade with NHS services, Pride in Practice trains and accredits using LGBT Foundation’s grass-roots expertise and community-insight with 45 years of experience working with over 40,000 people per year and reaching 600,000 people online.

Whilst we can’t be together in community spaces right now and with many LGBT people stuck at home struggling without affirmation from those they live with, this training and accreditation offer is for you and it’s for them.

That’s why we’re inviting you to be pioneers of the Pride in Practice Training Academy and the first cohort of Pride in Practice Champions as we bring LGBT inclusion expertise to everyone who wants and needs it.
