Christmas Raffle Donations-
Help us spread some festivity and make a difference this December! Proud 2 b Parents is hosting our annual Christmas raffle, at our Christmas party on 17th Decemer, and we need your help. Your generous donations help us raise essential funding for the activities we deliver to the community. Last year, with your support, we raised over £500, enabling us to deliver and create meaningful activities for our families. Your contributions, no matter how big or small, make a significant impact. Please let us know about your donations via info@proud2bparents.co.uk or drop them off at our November or December meet ups.

Families through Adoption, Digital Meet-up
Date: Thursday 7th December

Here at Proud 2 b Parents we recognise that it is important that families through adoption have an opportunity to connect, share stories, and offer support to one another. This is a space to share experiences and feed into some of the work that is happening both locally and nationally through partnership work. We will be looking for any questions, thoughts or feedback that families would like to be put to the Minister of Children and Families - Brendan Clarke-Smith.

Saturday Session - GBT+ parents/ carers
Date: Saturday 2nd December
Time: 1-3 pm
Venue: Great Northern Warehouse, Village Hall

The Saturday Space is a series of events specifically for families who are part of smaller communities within the wider Proud 2 b Parents community - so they can have their own dedicated space. This month is for 'Gay, Bisexual, and trans dads or male carers' Join us at the Village Hall on Deansgate Mews, Manchester, M3 4EW. Any partners, co-parents, or spouses are welcome to join you too. Children of all ages are welcome. We will have lots of exciting things for babies and under-5s to play with. For older children there will be drawing materials and board games. You are also welcome to bring your own toys and activities to the space! There are tea/coffee making facilities in the Village Hall along with table & chairs and toilet and nappy change. The Village Hall is accessible via lift from both directions. (Via the stairwell opposite The Hilton Hotel or via Great Northern/Odeon Cinema route.) Any questions about this event? Infant massage and the benefits - Parent/ carer support session

Kim from The Queer Parenting Partnership will be supporting us learning the basics of infant massage and a few simple routines. We will look at a brief history of infant massage, discuss the benefits of infant massage and then work through some routines.

Sealife - Mid Week Meet Up

Info: This meet up is already full booked due to the facebook events update a couple of dates ago, but you can still contact us for the reserve list or pay for your own entry and join in the fun!!!
Join us at Sealife centre, Trafford Centre for a fun-packed mid week meet up. Come and surround yourself with millions of underwater creatures, and explore the soft play area, while us grown ups have a catch up before the holidays.
Stay, Chat & Play

Monthly Get together
Date: Sunday 17th December

Info: Join us at our regular Cheeky Cherubs meet up. This session is our amazing Christmas Party, therefore Christmas jumpers/ tops are a must!!! We have all the usual activities such as arts and crafts, soft play and sensory room. But as it’s Christmas we will be having a visit from the main person themself: Santa Claus  will be flying in between 2-3pm.
We will also have our Christmas disco and of course our fantastic Christmas raffle and Christmas fundraiser cups. Here is just a sample of prizes on offer at the raffle: Gulliver's World entrance, Cbeebies bookbag and freebies, BMW hamper, Footlights performing arts experience and much more. If you are coming along to this event please make sure to bring plenty of cash/change for the raffle as we can't take bank payments for this - tickets are £1.50 a piece or £5 for a strip of 5. Money raised from the raffle helps to fund additional activities such as our school holiday sessions which benefits our families.
We'll also have the Queer Lit book stall back will LGBT+ themed children's books (for under 10s) availble to buy with a percentage from the sale of each book going to P2bP.
The P2bP team will be on hand to say 'Hi' and help out if you need them. The session is bookable so Santa can ensure he has enough gifts for all.
Ice skating and food
Date: Saturday 16th December
Time: 11 am - 1 pm

Info: Let’s slide into winter at over 8's youth group meet-up at Altrincham Ice Skating Rink. This is a fun-packed couple of hours, the session includes:
- 1 Hour Skating Session
- Skate Hire
- Off-Ice and On-Ice Induction
- Party food
- A hot drink for the grown-ups
We look forward to seeing you there, parents can stay or drop off it is completely up to each individual family and your child's needs.
Need to cancel your place on an activity?
Where possible, please give as much notice as you can if you can’t attend any activities and only cancel a booking for good reason.
We want to make sure that every space on our activities is used so families receive the full benefit of all meet-ups. Repeated short-notice cancellations from the same family may mean that we are no longer able to offer them a space on bookable activities.
