Since Vista (I think) it's no longer possible to drag from a lower privilleged process and drop into a higher privilleged process. Magic Studio (and typically also Runtime) however are, because MSE installs them with "run as administrator" set. If you remove that flag and Runtime/Studio is a regular user process, it should work. Then however Magic wont work anymore - if it's installed in %ProgramFiles%, ... . You have to move it out of there as well before you have a chance without "Run as administrator"
