Schools Funding Arrangements 2022-23
Consultation & Briefing Events
In 2022-23, as in previous years, the local authority will continue to set a local schools funding formula, in consultation with its schools, under what is known as a ‘soft’ National Funding Formula (NFF). The government are currently seeking views on moving to a ‘hard’ NFF from 2023-24, which will determine school funding allocations directly, rather than a local funding formula.
As we continue to work through the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, the local authority acknowledges the need to make the consultation and information events via a virtual setting again to allow people to attend. We encourage you to share your views with us by booking onto these events and responding to the consultation.

Our annual conference is now less than a month away and this will be the first DSLS face to face event to take place for school leaders since early 2020!

DSLS School Leadership Briefing - Autumn term

- a focus on RSE curriculum provision and response to the Ofsted Report on Sexual Abuse in schools & colleges
