A new Pitbull song is coming to Samba de Amigo for Switch and VR

Sega is teaming up with rapper and pop star Pitbull, aka Mr Worldwide, for Samba de Amigo with a new song for the Dreamcast reboot. Sega announced the collaboration in a new trailer and said the new track and two other classic Pitbull songs will be available in both Samba de Amigo: Party Central for Nintendo Switch, set for launch on Aug. 29, 2023, and Samba de Amigo for Meta Quest 2 and Meta Quest 3, which has a vague fall 2023 release date.

The new Pitbull song is “Let’s Take a Shot,” which will also release as a single alongside Pitbull’s new album Trackhouse. The other two tracks are “Shake Senora,” with T-Pain and Sean Paul, and the “party pleaser” song “Celebrate (From The Original Motion Picture “Penguins of Madagascar”).”

“Celebrate” is in the game at launch. “Let’s Take a Shot” and “Shake Senora” will be available as part of a free update that releases for both games on launch day.

Samba de Amigo and Party Central are revivals of the classic Sega Dreamcast rhythm game, where you time your maraca shakes and moves to the beat of a range of pop songs. Both include online multiplayer, leaderboards, a range of new customization options, and song libraries with over three dozen tracks.
