Welcome to Lemmings Theatre!

Inquisitive Bookworms, a Living Museum, the World’s Smallest Theatre, Human Cannonballs, the Garden of Curiosities, buckets of water and even Russian roulette played on exploding toilets; when the lemmings are about anything can happen.

Our mission is simply to look our audiences in the eye and see that they are totally engaged

From their roots in anarchic comedy, the lemmings have evolved to embrace heritage, community arts and education but always with the same underlying sense of humour and lashings of ginger beer.

‘Lemmings’ what a brilliant name for a couple of anarchic comedians hell bent on performing death-defying feats; Dave was happy with that name, but lemmings on its own sounded too naked, too simple. A couple of weeks later he walked by the Royal Opera House. “Yes, a that is it”, he thought, something preposterously grandiose yet absurd and so ‘The Grand Theatre of Lemmings’ was born.
