Collaborate with our Commonwealth Professional Fellows

We’re delighted to welcome three Commonwealth Professional Fellows to Lancaster. During their 6 week visit they will follow a programme of activities that supports their capacity to embed knowledge exchange and entrepreneurial thinking into their own practice. Come along and find out how you could collaborate with them.

Dr Felly Tusiime (Uganda Ministry of Water & Environment). Felly is a National Project Coordinator strengthening the adaptive capacity and resilience of communities across Uganda and reducing their vulnerability to climate change. She is interested in enhancing the capacity of scientists to think as entrepreneurs and turn knowledge and skills into products that will address place-based challenges

Mary Sibande (University of Livingstonia in Mzuzu, Malawi). Mary is Director of Research overseeing and coordinating research activities across Livingstonia and leading on local and international partnerships. Her research interests include community health, reproductive health, occupational health and public health policy. She’d like to empower institutions in Malawi to develop their own entrepreneurial capacity and contribute to the co-design of research programmes with real impact.

Dr Georgina Erifeta (HoD Biochemistry at Igbenidion University, Nigeria). Georgina is a Reader in Biochemistry at Igbenidion University and is interested in maximising opportunities associated with harnessing energy and other valuable products from waste streams. She wants to embrace a more solution-driven research culture across her institution.
