Directory of Open-Source Registries

Purpose and background

Information from open-source registries is useful for anticorruption law enforcement authorities. It may be directly collected by investigators and prosecutors without the need of a formal mutual legal assistance request.

The GlobE Network “Directory of Open-Source Registries” helps users overcome challenges in identifying, accessing and collecting information from such registries, especially given language barriers and diverse legal cultures.

This directory is, therefore, intended to facilitate anticorruption law enforcement authorities’ and practitioners’ access to such registries by displaying information shared by GlobE members on open-source registries available in their countries in one place.

Open-source registries by country

The usefulness of the directory relies significantly on the scale of its coverage. GlobE members that have not participated in the survey are strongly encouraged to share relevant information with the secretariat once such information becomes available. The secretariat considers the directory a living document and will continue to update it regularly.

Disclaimer: Links shared by GlobE members, which did not function due to technical issues or security concerns, and for which no alternatives were found, as well as those which provided interesting information but did not lead to the webpage of registries were excluded from this directory. Members are invited to contact the UNODC GlobE secretariat and provide additional sources if relevant.
