On 16th October I will be running the BathHalf Marathon for Freya's mum, Ali Barter, by raising money for cancer research. Ali is like a second mum to me and her family is now and will always be my family. She has given me so many memories since Freya and I became friends in yr7. Like the first time I stayed up for new years and first time driving plus so many more. On the 17th December 2020 she was diagnosed with stage 4 terminal lung cancer after being given antibiotics for pneumonia for 3 months and going to the doctors and hospitals asking for them to investigate more into her pain and cough. She was given 2 weeks. As a result I will be running for the charity cancer research especially for helping diagnose patients earlier giving them even more of a fighting chance. Ali every month beats her target date and is one of the strongest, bravest people I know. If you have the ability to donate ☺️ anything would be greatly appreciated xoxo
