Hailing from sunny California, the alternative-pop trio rose out of endless garage jam sessions and D.I.Y. gigs in the back of a surf shop, arriving with feel-good, funky and danceable grooves for the masses to listen and vibe out to. Now, they’re unleashing the stellar visual for their newest single titled “live forever,” premiering exclusively on _Flaunt_ today and further proving why they’re ones to look out for in 2021. The track follows their debut EP titled [**_don’t say you’re ordinary_**](https://smarturl.it/dontsayyoureordinary), released in October of last year and already racking up more than 23 million streams overall. Writing “live forever” as one of the last songs they penned in their trip to Brooklyn, the group describes the making as “one of those magic sessions where the song came together within an hour.” Entertaining the studio, almost monday wrote the song about their experiences in New York: skating through the city, losing their phones, and public transit, all things they don't experience in San Diego. “live forever” is about not taking the moments they have for granted and living boldly, an attempt at looking at youth as a mindset versus an age. In regard to the visual, they were inspired directly by the Beastie Boys. They state, “We loved the energy and attitude they gave off and wanted to evoke a similar feeling. We worked with our super talented friend Nico Poalillo on the idea and after two days of running around literally everywhere in San Diego, we came out with something we really love.” Watch “live forever” exclusively below!
