Children and Young People (Jersey) Law 2022 Statutory Guidance
Training is available to support everyone that works with and / or provides services to children, young people and their families understand their responsibilities under the new Children and Young People Law.
The Brook Traffic light Tool training
The training will provide professionals with a comprehensive supporting framework for understanding and responding to sexual behaviours presented by children and young people. It will also support professionals to identify behaviour and establish if sexual behaviour is typical or developmentally appropriate, problematic or harmful. It also supports practitioners to understand what the behaviour is communicating and why the child or young person may be exhibiting the behaviour.
Jersey’s Children First - Introduction Course
This course provides a broad overview of Jersey’s Children First framework. It is designed for people who work primarily with adults who may be parents/carers, or whose work does not regularly involve direct contact with children and young people.
Jersey’s Children First - Essentials Course
This course outlines the process of supporting children and young people and their families through Jersey’s Children First approach. It is suitable for everyone who works regularly with children, young people, and their families.
Awareness of Domestic Violence and Abuse (Jersey) virtual training
This course will give you a broad understanding of domestic abuse, its impact on children, young people and adults and how to help them. It will also give you information on services available in Jersey.
