After a two-week poll asking “Which Latin artist is dominating 2020 (so far)?,” Billboard readers have picked its winner, crowning Sebastian Yatra.
The Colombian pop artist took the lead with more than 76 percent of the votes. He’s followed by Latina superstars Thalia and Shakira.
The year began on a high for Yatra, who dropped “TBT” in late February in collaboration with Manuel Turizo and Rauw Alejandro. The head-bopping, hip-shaking jam hit No. 1 on the Latin Rhythm Airplay chart dated June 27. “TBT” dethroned the Black Eyed Peas after their one-week reign with “Mamacita,” with Ozuna and J.Rey Soul, on the Latin Rhythm Airplay chart.
