Since April 2023, Forever Manchester’s Community Building Team has been working in the Lancashire Hill area of Stockport and the Hag Fold area of Wigan.
Our aim is to bring local people together to create something special and put smiles on the faces of people in the local community.
We are discovering what interests and passions people have and are working closely with them to turn their great ideas into reality to help build a stronger community. The most important thing in building a stronger community is to involve the people that live there. Where funding is needed to help get these ideas off the ground, Forever Manchester will provide a hand up to support them.

Friday Thanks
In the Forever Manchester Abseil Challenge on Sunday 20th August 2023, our brilliant daredevils raised £11,885 due to their incredible fundraising efforts.
We would like to say a massive thanks to all the brave people at: Beever and Struthers, Brsk, The Corn Exchange and Oscar, as well as the following individuals: Elizabeth Murray and David Hunt. We even saw some of our very own Forever Manchester team taking part. Including trustees Claire Ebrey and Zoe Philips, Forever Manchester ambassador Mel Hill, and staff members Evan Merner, Gill Green, Helen Capiter and Vikki Snowden. KNDS also raised an incredible £2,500 for Forever Manchester during 'Active August'. A fantastic achievement and a big thanks to all involved. We're also excited to announce that throughout September, 20 Stories is supporting Forever Manchester with a discretionary donation on meals in the restaurant. A huge thanks to the team at 20 Stories for their support. Whether you are a company, a group or an individual, with your generosity and support we can continue to help Greater Manchester's communities become even greater. Our handy fundraising guide is available here, giving you the inspiration and information to host your own fundraiser for Forever Manchester.
