You(th) and the 2024 European elections
On 6-9 June 2024, elections for the European Parliament will be held. In the past, many young people have been little interested in voting for the European Parliament, although in 2019 there was a boost in young people voting.

In the upcoming elections, an increase of young people participating is crucial: to signal young people's interest in European issues, to firmly putting youth issues on the European political agenda and to contrast negative political developments. Very important issues - that directly affect youth - are at stake, such as the Europe-wide problem with housing, youth unemployment and precarity on the job market, rising costs of living, and the general lack representation of youth in political institutions.

In our brief survey, we ask about your views of the European elections and the European integration project. We are interested in your views as young, mobile citizens in Europe, in particular, but not only, in relation to the Erasmus+ programme.

The questionnaire is intended for young Europeans (16-35 years old). The survey should take you 8-10 minutes to answer. Your participation is voluntary and strictly anonymous. The information you provide cannot be linked to your identity, and you may withdraw from the survey at any time. All data will be collected and stored in accordance with the EU's General Data Protection Regulation. The results will be made available in the upcoming Participation Erasmus Alumni for Engagement (PEACE) report (for the first report, see report).

The PEACE project aims at getting better knowledge of civic and political engagement among young people in Europe, and among participants of the Erasmus+ programme more in general.

We very much appreciate your input and look forward to know your views better!
