CCO Faith Studies (Growth) 11am & 8.15pm

Growth is a 6-week course that gives us an opportunity to examine the fundamental practices which nurture our Christian life, such as prayer, sacraments and fellowship. This course follows on from Discovery and Source Courses. If you haven't done Source or Discovery then please consider joining us for them first. Visit www.cpg.church/formation for further details.

We will be running the Growth course via Zoom on Tuesday mornings (11-12.30 am) and Tuesday evenings (8:15-9:30 pm) starting on 15th September.

Who is this course for?
This particular course is for the family of the Catholic Parish of Guildford and parishes in the Guildford Deanery, who are aged 18 or over.

Growth Course Outline 
1 - Growth Essentials (15th September)
An overview of why and how we are called to grow in our relationship with God.
2 - Prayer (22nd September)
Growing in our confidence in prayer and our intimacy with God through prayer.
3 - Scripture (29th September)
Recognising that Scripture is living and active, and should be so in our daily lives.
4 - Sacramental Life (6th October)
Recognising that the grace we receive in the sacraments helps us to grow in faith.
5 - Fellowship (13th October)
Paul, Barnabas and Timothy are models of the relationships we have within the body of Christ.
6 - Service and Witness (20th October)
Recognising our call to serve others and share the love of God with them in word and deed.
