Iceland

About the offer: The supermarket chain Iceland is offering social care staff regular access to dedicated online shopping slots. These are every Friday at 8am-9am and 2pm-3pm, for deliveries the following Mondays and Tuesdays..

Who is it for : This offer will be available in two phases for up to 1 million adult social care sector employees. During the first phase (week of 27 April), the offer will be trialled with around 55,000 staff members in 1,000 providers. The approach will be revised to reflect feedback and then made available to remaining employees from week of 4 May. Your employer will be able to confirm whether your organisation is included in the initial pilot (registered managers will receive an email notification).

How to use the offer: Individuals who would like to use the offer, should register for an account on Iceland’s website: https://www.iceland.co.uk/account/register. Once your account is set up, there will be an option of entering a ‘personal passphrase’ in the ‘My Account’ area. You should enter your personal passphrase (made up of three words) that will be sent to you by your employer. This will enable you to access priority delivery slots for social care staff.

Troubleshooting:

    • My priority code doesn’t work. Please contact your employer to make sure you are using the correct personal passphrase. If you are still experiencing issues, please contact the Iceland team using contact form on the Iceland website: https://www.iceland.co.uk/customer-support/contact-us.
    • I would like to provide feedback on my experience. We would welcome your views and insights. Please complete the survey from Iceland at https://s.userzoom.com/m/MSBDNzQ0UzI3NSA
    • My organisation has been given the wrong number of codes. The allocation of codes is based on Skills for Care’s analysis of the Adult Social Care Workforce Data Set. Although we are not able to take into account any updates to workforce data to revise the allocation of these specific codes, having accurate information will ensure Skills for Care are best placed to help implement any similar initiatives in the future. You can revise your data by entering your latest information on the following website: https://asc-wds.skillsforcare.org.uk/login
