The Winter Games: The Complete Series

Rate this book
Five alpha snowboarders. Five fierce women. Five heart-wrenching love stories.
One completely captivating collection.

The Winter Games series follows a close-knit group of friends in a snowy mountain-town setting. Surrounded by the cold and past secrets, future hurdles and hidden enemies, will their fire to find true love melt any obstacle in their way?

From broken souls to broken hearts, these five interconnected standalone novels are emotional and angsty stories of love and loss with a group of loyal friends that will warm your soul.

Up in the Air (Book 1)… When her twin brother’s disappearance pushes Channing Ryder to risk everything and enter a competition under his name, the last thing she ever expected was for Wyatt Olsen—her competition—to be so charming. Needing to keep her distance or risk being exposed, Channing tries to focus on the gold and not the man determined to win her heart. Because the danger in falling for Wyatt is that he might shatter her heart when he learns the truth.

On The Edge (Book 2)… Fleeing an unimaginable tragedy, Ally Ryder gave up sun and sand for the cold, snowy mountains of Colorado. She wasn’t looking to start over—she was looking to bury her broken soul. And when Emmett Jameson shows up at her front door, gruff and condescending, Ally realizes her brother’s best friend is the perfect man for her destruction. Emmett knows Ally is off-limits, but he can’t help but be drawn to her. All she wants is to fall apart, but when he’s always there to pick up the pieces, Ally wonders instead if she’s falling for the asshole in shining armor.

Enjoy the Ride (Book 3)… With one fall, Chance Ryder blew not only his knee but his skyrocketing snowboarding career. Back in Aspen, fate deals him another wild card—Jessa Madison. His new physical therapist and the woman who broke his heart. Will their unquenchable attraction give him a straight shot at revenge or will it finally give them a second chance at love?

In Too Deep (Book 4)… Life has thrown Tamsin Lucas one curveball after another, disrupting her perfectly-ordered plans. When she has no choice but to tutor the daughter of a man whose coldness rivaled snow, she can’t help but wonder about the secrets under his frozen façade. Meanwhile, drawn to her warmth, Nick Frost knows Tammy is too perfect for him and his past is too dangerous for her, but what if what they have is too strong to deny?

Over the Top (Book 5)… Jac Blanchard is the ice princess of the mountain. Broken and betrayed by fiancé, Jac learned the hard way that it’s the people you love who can hurt you the worst. But when one night puts her in Kyle Masters’ sights, she has a hard time avoiding the aggravatingly attractive prince charming. Kyle knows what they have is more than just a fling, and he won’t give up until Jac believes it, too. But when danger lurks on the mountain, he’ll fight to keep her safe—even if it costs him everything.

This sexy winter sports romance series is the perfect addictive binge read!
The entire Winter Games series is included in this boxset along with bonus content.
All books are full-length (100K+) standalone novels.

Enjoy the Ride

It was a great read!! I didn't know about this series until I read this book and now I want to read all the others. Specially the next one coming because Frost and Tammy desperately need something to go right in their lives.

This story is great because it has steamy moments, some issues to resolve and some fun included in it. When they were younger, Jessa and Chance were consumed by each other. And even when that is not a bad thing, they were to young and overwhelmed to know how to handle a future, how to communicate better. Now, life has pushed them both down to the point of braking them. The rage Chance is feeling is making him want to break Jessa some more. But they will realize that together there is no more breaking. Together they become home to each other. They heal. They complete each other.

In too deep

I'm so excited that I finally got to Nick's story!

Nothing ever goes Nick's way. He doesn't know the meaning of someone caring for him and putting him first since he lost his dad. And even when that is happening to him, the best kept secret is that he IS the caring type. He cares deeply for the people he considers worthy.

Nick is intense but that is understandable. What will surprise you is how poetic he can be. I love the comparisons he makes of Tammy with the moon. It's perfect! He is perfect in all his chaos. Nick's words may seem harsh all the time, but when it comes to Tammy his words are profound. When you read this story, you will see there are no better words to describe Tammy's character then the ones he uses.

He has genuinely wanted her for years. And he couldn't have chosen a better woman. Her want to protect, her want and need for family is exactly what he needs to take control of his life. She is who shows him what happiness feels like. And not surprising, he teaches her to grow as a woman. To experience freedom when that is the main thing he's lacking. With him she can let go, she can feel whole and perfect. Something she desperately needs after all the bad luck she has had.

The process of growth for them it's really heart breaking because after so much that has happened, he thinks he is not worth her goodness, pureness and perfection. But that man is so dedicated and so deserving that damaged never look so good. On the other hand, she can't believe he could desire her so much since in her mind she is defective. But again, she is the calm to his storm. These two will steal your heart. You will be their biggest cheerleader.

Over the Top

This book got me out of a book funk. I loved the interactions, the characters (not only the main ones) and loved that the author brought back people from previous stories that are awesome. Betty is the best. Hilarious and knows it all. I'm also very happy that I get a bit of Nick's wisdom again. His ability to always know and uncover the deepest feelings others have, is uncanny. He is like Yoda. BTW, I think the author got very clever with the Star War references. But more than anything I loved that Kyle is so sweet and intuitive. That he sees Jac as a warrior and is not intimidated by it. You would think that a Prince charming is all sweet and smoochie but not this one. This one has a dirty, strong side to him. And it's awesome to get that surprise. Jac has been so strong all by herself for so long that she needs a perfect mix of tenderness and authority like him. And thank God he has the patience of a saint because it takes a lot of reassurance from him to get the girl. Not easy to put her a ease but worth it. Best part, it's not just her who gets the price. She is also one hell of a catch.

The Winter Games series holds the #1 spot at the top of my favorite series list. It's full of strong, fierce heroines and hot alpha SnowMassholes. Each book in this series takes you on an emotional rollercoaster, that I love riding again and again.

Sharp created a fun, flawless and fantastic setting for this series. This series is so effortless to read. The writing is impeccable. The details are spot on. I always say this is one world I wouldnt mind living in.

Her characters are so relatable all ten of them. There was an instant connection to each of them.

This box set is awesome. I’ve read all the books but one separately but having them in one set is so much easier to go from one story to the next. I highly recommend this box set.

The Winter Games series was a highly addictive & simply brilliant series that I couldn't get enough of. And unlike me, y'all get to read them all at once instead of waiting while craving more desperately.

1. Up in the Air
Channing is all about the #GirlPower, so when an invitation for her brother to compete in the Winter X games, she decided to play her twin in those games. Wyatt is a guy who is all kinds of distracting, which made my girl a bit of a flip flopper. They had crazy intense chemistry, and there are even a lot of twists coming in hot.

2. On the Edge
I'm a HUGE sports fan so On the Edge was right up my alley on so many fronts. And Rebecca Sharp definitely nailed it with her talented writing style, not to mention that she almost KILLED ME DEAD with the over the top angst, that I'm still emotional long after every word was devoured. I'm full of so many mixed emotions when it comes to the hero, Emmett, who was a total douche for a lot of the story, that I'm still feeling residual anger towards him. It's not that he didn't have a heart buried under his douchey ways, because he did, he just didn't always let it shine through. But Ally, the heroine, I absolutely loved so much, and thankfully, she gave his alpha ego a run for his money, although he did hurt her feelings (not that she would let him know that), and for that, I wanted to junk punch him, as I'm #TEAMALLY 100%! Of course, together their chemistry is perfect, so sexy times in between the sparring interactions lit the sheets on fire, so the push & pull was frustrating like crazy, and I wanted to come through the pages to shake some sense into them at times. Yeah, I know, I'm a absolute up & down mess of my own, but this author wrote an amazing story that was an emotional roller coaster ride like a boss, so it's become my favorite to date! I'm super excited to see what she hits me with next, and I HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND TO ALL!

3. Enjoy the Ride
Jessa Madison has been away from Aspen for 8 years, and has landed her dream job that she's worked so hard for. However, things take a complicated turn when the man she destroyed, Chance, becomes her patient in the first week, and he's determined to make her pay for what she did. But Jessa isn't going to let him mess things up, because after all of these years, they should be able to be adults about things, shouldn't they? Chance used the have everything, Jessa as the love of his life, and Best Snowboarder in the US title, but now he doesn't have either, so he's in a very dark place, and alcohol really helps numb it all. So when Jessa comes home, he's bound & determined to get his revenge finally, so he's going to have her, then break her. Yeah this story really messed with my head & emotions big time. Chance had me saying so many colorful metaphors it wasn't even funny, as he really went out of his way to be cruel to Jessa. He didn't try to communicate like an adult, nope, just act like a total douche. I know that as a younger man, that could be forgiven, but 8 years later? Yeah, he needed to man up & use his words. So I stayed enraged at him throughout this story, and really wanted to junk punch him a LOT! Jessa, on the other hand, had my respect most of the time, for the way she stayed mature. Did I think she caved too easily at times? Yes, I do. I believe that she punished herself to the point that she gave in to his two year old actions too quickly in my opinion. Of course that made the story very realistic as emotions aren't something that can be explained. Obviously, Rebecca Sharp, with her brilliant writing style, really took me on an emotional roller coaster ride, with f-bomb worthy twists that came flying out from every direction, to the very end. So yeah, this story was totally worth reading until wee hours of the morning, and I HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND TO ALL!

4. In Too Deep
Since Enjoy the Ride (Book 3) in the Winter Games series, I've been dying for In Too Deep, and that's not to say that you must read Book 3, although I really recommend you do so, because it has a lot of Nick and Tamsin in it as secondaries. With that being said, I wasn't sure that I would ever like Nick, much less fall in love with him, but I should have never doubted the amazing Rebecca Sharp, whose talent is off the charts insane! See, there's more to him than meets the eye, but he covers his demons up with booze, drugs, and women, so he comes off quite the douche. However, there's one big reason for him to straighten up, his sweet daughter. And this is where he needs Tamsin's help. Tamsin, aka Tammy, is a good girl, who makes all the right choices, until a huge hit from life leads her to deciding to make a wrong choice that leads her to Nick's door. She wants him to give her a night of chaos, and one night only, but then he becomes her boss. Now, all of a sudden, one night isn't enough as they are in close contact on a regular basis. This story was sooooo good, with all the feels hitting me right between the eyes. Nick was so multi-layered it wasn't even funny, and it nearly brought me to my knees at the end of the day, because anything I thought I knew, I was wrong. Which means the twists were out of control, like my f-bomb dropping, all the way up to the grand finale! He & Tammy's chemistry was crazy intense, which finally led to sexy times that lit the sheets and/or furniture on fire. Then the cast of secondaries were from the previous stories, so I loved those good people as they added depth, while the others added moments of rage. So yeah, I couldn't get enough of In Too Deep, as it was well worth the wait! HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

5. Over the Top
I so LOVE the Winter Games series, and just look at this beautiful cover of Over the Top, which is just the beginning of all the amazing goodness to experience. I can't state this fact enough; having a heroine every bit as fierce as a hero is just glorious & I'll NEVER NOT ONCE get enough of it! That's what this brilliant author gives me time & time again, which puts her at the top of my list of favorites, and it's been this way since the very first book & I've never looked back. I totally see myself in Jac, a competitive heroine who is at the top of her sport, has had a relationship betrayal which tried to destroy her, but instead made her okay with taking care of herself. Kyle is absolutely the perfect hero for our fierce heroine, as he's willing to just have her back, not take over to rescue her. Not to mention all the patience who displayed as he tried to show her she's worth everything to him. It made this hard heart completely melt, and for a bonus round, the f-bomb dropping worthy twists that kept me on the edge of my seat in my happy place. So yeah, Over the Top is the perfect read for me, and I'll revisit it over & over again in the years to come, especially since I'm super sad that this series has wrapped up! Do yourselves a major solid & hit that one click button to experience it as I can't HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT ENOUGH!

So you can see how much I LOVE this author, so hit those one click buttons for a fantastic ride! Let me say it again, I HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND TO ALL!

Absolutley great read.
I love how stories are connected to one another in series like this insteady of just randomly popping up and suddenly fit in with everything. It was well thought out, it was full of drama and happenings, it was filled with risk and OMG the chemistry was just so hot it would melt the ski slopes.
Brava to Rebecca Sharp. This 5 book collection was a fantastic way to spend my day.

This is a great collection for this author! I practically devoured it. Each story has it's element and different but has the men you want to swoon over and fierce, independent women who are not afraid to put them in their places. It's perfect for the season and just what I needed to curl up with and relax.
