God decided to take Val to his loving home...
Hello everyone,
This page is dedicated to raising funds to help Valentin Buliga's family relocate him to his homeland.
On the 29th of May, Val was participating in the London-Essex 100-mile ride with a starting time of 6:20 am.
After an amazing start and probably one of the best rides he was on, at mile 49.3 Val, suffered a Cardiac Arrest around 8:40 am.
Even if the people and colleagues riders helped him at the scene, his heart only fully recovered after 34 minutes.
Time which is crucial for the brain. Being relocated to Basildon CTC, we fund 2 days later he suffered Hopoxya Total Brain Damage.
After being in Coma for 24 days, Valentin, sadly passed away on the 22nd of June.
If you were lucky enough to know Valentin in any way, you will know the positive impact he has on your life. We as colleagues are overwhelmed by the kind words and support we receive from people he barely knew.
Creating this page, at first, is for the friends and people who know him that want to help the family in those unprecedented times.
Nothing can prepare you for this. But as well, for any other persons that feel they like to help Valentin on his last ride.

I have been asked by the GoFundMe organiser to confirm for the transparency the structure of the transfer which will be as follow:
- the funds will be transferred to my bank account which then I will make an international transfer to the family in Romania for the full amount that has been collected.
