dnata receives IATA's CEIV Pharma and Live Animals certifications at Brussels Airport

Less than two years after the opening, the Animal Care & Inspection Center is now IATA CEIV Live Animals certified. The ACIC is the second facility in the world to achieve this certification and passed the assessments and audit with highest distinction. This certification is part of an ongoing community certification, where other parties will follow later this year. This will make Brussels Airport the largest CEIV certified community in the world!

Driven by industry standards, IATA’s CEIV Live Animals Logistics establishes baseline standards to improve the level of competency, infrastructure and quality management in the handling and transportation of live animals throughout the supply chain.

With dnata’s hard work on obtaining the IATA CEIV pharma certificate, all ground handlers operating at Brussels Airport are now fully CEIV pharma certified. This further strengthens our position as the preferred European pharma gateway and enlarges our pharma CEIV cluster of companies located at Brussels Airport, the biggest cluster in the world.
