Dirty Billionaires #3

His Dirty Bargain

Rate this book
My biological clock has been pounding for over a year. Any minute now, I'm going to hit buy on the sperm that's been sitting in my online cart for the last six months.... any minute. I want to be a single mom. The last five years without a man have been the best years of my life. Except, I do want kids, six if I had my way. But if I’m doing it alone, I can’t really afford more than one.
At least what I need I can get off a website. I had no idea men had biological clocks too, but Enzo Sabatini proves otherwise. The control-freak billionaire married a gold-digging womb to get the children he wanted, and not surprisingly it blew up in his face. With the ink barely dry on his divorce that lasted longer than his marriage, I'm tasked with finding him a new place to live. I can't believe it's really heat I see in his eyes when he looks at me. I'm nothing like his usual women, plus size compared to size zero.
Shock is an understatement when I see the ring. I can barely process his insane proposal of me getting the dream house and the multifamily property I want in exchange for at least ten years and two kids. Wait, what? What kind of effing proposal is that? It's not a marriage proposal, it's a bargain—one with limits and terms and signed off by lawyers. I don't care how hot he is; he's lost his mind.
So why do I say not yet instead of no? Is this going to be the biggest mistake of my life, or is there any way we can make a happy-ever-after from this dirty bargain?

Due to commitment issues I have lived in many different cities and my favorite is Chicago but I have managed to settle into Austin and perhaps my commitment issues are behind me.
I have enjoyed reading from a very young age and it wasn't long before the children books bored me and I read the books my mother enjoyed Stephen King and Dean Koontz and I didn't sleep without the light on until I was about ten.
I came across my first Harlequin by accident and it was love at first read, no one died and happy endings? It was a whole new world and I loved it.
I wrote my first story at eight and everyone died, of course. Since then I would like to think I've gotten better and now I'm writing the happily ever afters I first fell in love with, with some hot sex thrown in along the way.
As a plus size woman myself, I have started writing the stories I always wanted to see myself in but never did. And now I'm ecstatic to give BBWs the happily ever afters with hot Alphas they so rarely get.

What a Wonderful Book!

A week ago this author was new to me. Now I'm about to read the 4th Sabati Family book! You will love this book and the others about Dante and Cheserae just as much. Sexy love stories with real emotions, fears, love and laughter. I honestly can't say enough good things about these books!

3.5 stars - i really wish i could rate this higher but the mmc is genuinely just so mean and a horrible husband.

throughout the entire book, the mmc and his family make chloe feel like everything is her fault and that she’s some damaged, crazy, cold hearted bitch.

the mmc literally abandons chloe right before they get married, ignores her, chooses other people over her, insults her and is super passive towards her (ignored her fears of hospitals and instead acts like she’s some unsympathetic cold hearted bitch that doesn’t care ab his nephew) announces her pregnancy to everyone without even letting her know that he knows she’s pregnant (never says congratulations or anything), and then proceeds to abandon and ignore her (going as far as moving out of their room) after their wedding - making her get depression and lose weight WHILE SHES PREGNANT.

and even after ALL THIS, she’s basically the one who has to approach him first and APOLOGISE?? WHY IS EVERYONE GASLIGHTING HER THE WHOLE TIME?? EVEN HER OWN MF NONNA???

he never changes, does not evolve as a character, makes chloe into some submissive doormat that has to apologise every time his fragile masculinity is bruised just so he doesn’t abandon and insult her AGAIN, and literally only ever communicates through impersonal sex. the only time he really changes is during the epilogue imo.

im so upset because i was really liking this book (even though the characters went from acquaintances to married without any relationship development at all???), but the mmc genuinely ruined it for me. there was absolutely no grovelling at all and i think that this book would’ve been infinitely times better if he just had to suffer ONCE.

i’m genuinely butthurt because i was really liking this book HAHAHAH

Loved this 3rd book these brothers are something that is for sure ...makes me dream and want to be an early 20 to 30 yr old single woman and find a man like these men ... hahahhahaaha
seriously the way this Author describes the chemistry between Chloe and Enzo is downright sizzling, sexual and just plain HOT ! .. when Chloe walks into Enzo's office and is stopped in her tracks and the description of the moments she feels and see's Enzo .... this old lady creamed for sure... I Love when I can just Picture those moments in someone's life thru the way this Author shares her words... then the next chapter we get Enzo's description and then from there ... it is like fire and Ice the twist the turns the desires .... yes absolutely a must read Series... Love them all
From Cesare whom they call "Che" and Dante (I adore this name) and then Lorenzo, aka Enzo :)
to their women Alicia,Bethany, and now Chloe ... Definitely GREAT reads :)

Another sizzling, sexy, sweet Sabatini book!

I've been waiting so long for this book to be released, I accidentally bought two other of Fiona Murphy's books because I thought I was buying this one. I was delusional, what can I say?

this book definitely does not disappoint. I have loved all of these novels, because of the core of family and love and support that runs through all of them. Of course, it doesn't hurt that all of them have curvy or curvy plus heroines, who know what they want (eventually), know who they are (before they fall in love) with the help of their men, and show their love so unconditionally that it makes me swoon.

And don't get me wrong, these books are HELLA hot. For me, made even more so by the absolute desire the characters have for each other and their unabashed embrace of their sexuality.

I would recommend you buy all 3 of these books. I bought this one but before I read it I "forced" myself to re-read the first two and I fell in love all over again.

Another Sabatini hit!

What a great story about another hot Sabatini!

Enzo and Chloe's story was a great addition to the series.

I have a thing for possessive alphas! Enzo hit the spot for my fix. All he wanted was a family to call his own. He may have went about it a non traditional way but in the end he got so much more than a family!

Chloe frustrated me at times. I get she was miss Independent and closed off to love due to what her mom and grandma went through. That's why it was satisfying to see Chloe finally open up her eyes and heart to a bigger picture!

The pay off is worth it for both characters and a happily ever after!

Interesting and riveting

A riveting story of love, lust and stubbornness. From the get go I was captured by the way author developed her characters. Just when I thought I knew how this would go ,I found myself emotional and feeling the emotions of the characters. It's a fast paced story, I couldn't put it down.

I really enjoyed reading this book. It was longer than most but was interesting all the way through. Enzo acts like a selfish brat when he doesn’t get his way and is pouty. Chloe has super walls up to protect herself from being hurt. Their relationship starts with each of them fighting for control of the situation. They have quite a bit of trials and tribulations but he has an amazing supportive family with brothers and sisters-in-law, uncle and cousin, and her Italian Nonna. They all are true to their vows and family values with no funny business or even the hint of it. They treat the wives like princesses and value their children. That was a very strong theme of this book. Well written and a very good book to read. I will read this author again.

This Was A Lot

This is my first book by this author, and I haven't read any other books of this series. It was so difficult for me to keep the names of other characters straight. That was a barrier to my full enjoyment of this book. Chloe and Enzo had poor communication skills and didn't seem like a match to me. I was surprised when they talked about being in love. I didn't too much care for the writing style; it took me a while to get into the story. Chloe doesn't get pregnant until maybe the last 30% of the book, she the pregnant woman on the cover is a bit of a let down if you're looking for a heroine that's pregnant the majority of the book.

I loved Dirty Billionaires Book 3. I never thought Enzo would find the one he was meant to be with. Especially with two people that have strong personalities being together. They both had there baggage going into this agreement/marriage. I wish I can give it more then 5 stars because the book was worth the wait and I can't wait to read Dominic's story and catch on all the Sabatini's.

Loved this story!

I've read this book twice now-- for some reason the story has just stuck with me. I love the main characters and while their actions are bullheaded, they're realistic. (Maybe not the initial proposition:p)

I've read the other two Sabatini brothers stories, so I wanted to finish with the whole family.

Enzo and Chloe meet when she is assigned by his brother, Dante to sell Enzo a house.

The chemistry is clear from the start, however, they both try to deny it. Enzo fresh from a divorce from a gold digging liar and Chloe who has chosen to be single for the last several years assumes this attraction will pass.

Enzo finds himself making an offer he vowed never to make again and Chloe finds herself in unfamiliar territory and way out of her comfort zone.

Although a good story, I didn't connect with this one as much as I did with the first book. Interesting characters, but I couldn't buy into the premise.

I hope the author considers writing a story with all the brothers and their growing families just let us readers still feel part of their journey.

The Sabatini men are alpha, beautiful, and demanding. Chloe likes all of them...except Enzo. He is a jerk. He knows it too. She has learned that it's not a good idea to depend on a man. When Dante asks her to help Enzo, she is appalled. Nursing a serious attraction for each other is hard when neither of them trusts or likes the other. Plus he has a seriously bad habit of being in school boy mode of being mean to try to cover his attraction or show his anger. When one of them comes closer and tries, the other slaps back. Then Enzo suggests an arrangement to give them what they both want. Can they do it?
It could be next to impossible. This was a really good read. Sexy and moving.

This was a dark, intense burn romance story perfect for a quick afternoon read.
This was a great heart pounding read. The story was very well written with great characters. The story drew me in and I had it finished in one sitting. I would highly recommend this read.

I was really looking forward for this read as I have enjoyed the previous two books in the series but the Gaslighting from the supporting characters was astounding. It could run the gas supply for the whole of Chicago. Everybody seemed to love Chloe but took time out of their day calling her a man hating, petty b at any chance. I'm still to find that in her character. Chloe was cautious a little insecure for good reason (her past, parents etc) that was seen as a flaw by everyone with a pulse.I

We were told about Chloe's mixed heritage, by Bethany character as a backstory exposition then nothing I knew her father was Haitian with a Cuban mother and that was it. Their was barely even a connect with her Italian side other than being told she spoke Italian fluently and her nonna.

The main male character Enzo was demanding, fine but pigheaded. All alpha but rarely saw reason and his spontaneous actions after coming out of a failed relationship was questionable considering he was the thinking, level headed brother.

SPOILER: In one scene Enzo's cousin Dominic to put the charm offensive with his father by inviting Chloe to dinner and then on returning her home call her petty and bitter and that she didn't deserve his cousin after one afternoon where she seemingly complimented the two's hospitality in defence of his cousin hurt feelings who had fell into insta-lust in ONE WEEK.

One working week!

It seemed she rarely heard anyone on her side everyone was like a parent that lords over their child's good grades to anyone that will listen but never tells their child how proud they are so it lead Chloe's character to over think to her detriment.
The relationship would have been good if longer time frame especially taking in to consideration both MC have been hurt and could easily grow together.
There was elements i like her fight, her strength but Chloe, girl you want six kids and still doing full time work? Wonder Woman in the house!
It was also nice to see other couples even though there was a disconnect as everyone seemed distant from one another. Everyone was baby baby baby

I finished this in one day it was so good! I was a bit lost on characters but I’m not going to dock my rating of the book on it - my fault for starting mid series. I will say, it is disappointing that the main plot of the book and COVER doesn’t come in where she’s pregnant until around 70% read. However, it wasn’t unenjoyable since Enzo and Chloe was constant tension, chemistry, love, tearing at each other’s clothes, and fighting lol.

The only thing is the book could use another round of editing, grammar mistakes in making sentences awkward by forgetting comma’s, introducing side characters better since it’s labeled a stand alone romance in a series, etc. i think fine tuning the plot and progress would help too - the scene where Enzo first proposes it was like Um what? That came out of NO WHERE since they literally were just fighting for two to three days previously. Also, there were definitely additional moments where it went from casual dialogue to seemingly uncalled for bursts of anger, yelling, or declarations of love (that I never felt were naturally progressed yet, maybe?)

However, all that’s to say I honestly enjoyed the book otherwise. No book can be perfect, and that’s ok! My heart was hurting and I was yelling at Enzo and Chloe to get their shit together when they weren’t communicating and personally if I’m that invested in a book relationship, it’s worthy of 5 stars. Can’t wait to check out the author more, I won’t lie and say the Dominic tease in the epilogue doesn’t tempt me to read that next.

Bargain Fulfilled

This is the third book of the three Sabatini brothers. This is the love story of Enzo and Chloe. Enzo is the middle brother of Caesar and Dante Sabatini. He's a little different as he runs his own investment company, separate from the brother's real estate company, however it's but located in the same building. He also has very different demons because he served eight years in the military where he was part of elite forces that he never discussed.

Enzo also married so he could have children but he wife deceived him and he divorced her which is where this book starts. Enzo decides he wants to buy a house and asks Dante for his best agent. Enter Chloe, another curvy African-American woman. He, as his brothers, immediately claims her as His.

A bargain is made and this is their story. Even though, it follows the same premise as the first two books, for some reason I thought this was better. Perhaps, it was because I knew the other characters and their stories and had wondered about Enzo. I also read Tony and Dominic stories but haven't reviewed them.

This has another HEA. If you like contemporary romances with erotic sex, you'll like this one.

Enzo's and Chloe's book was my least favorite of the three. Enzo was mean to Chloe nearly the whole book, only really changing in the epilogue. Not only was he mean to her, but basically everyone else was as well! Dante and Bethany (my favorite couple of the three) were really the only ones consistently sticking up for her. Chloe herself was okay at first, but quickly became annoying. I did not feel a solid connection between the two because they could barely interact with each other without some form of miscommunication happening. There was still some body shaming going on in this one, but not as much as the first two. Also in the first few chapters there was way too much real estate talk. It wasn't an awful book, just a disappointing end to the series.

Awesome Book!!!

I absolutely loved reading His DirtyBargain(Dirty Billionaires Book 3)!!! All about Enzo Sabatini a multi-billionaire & Chloe a realtor. Chloe is tasked with taking Enzo out and finding him a home. I do all the leg work, find five properties I think he will love go see him in his office, where he shoots me down in three minutes flat, and tells me I’m fired, now get out!!! Read about Chloe & Enzo who together they are like fire & ice!!! This is a story you will not be able to put down, the chemistry between all the characters is hot 🥵!!! This family is the real deal, totally connected, yet wealthy and warm in their own right!!! So much emotions, and tons of toe curling incidents throughout the entire book!!! Definite Read!!!!

Overall this book was an awful exercise in misogyny.
The hero was absolutely an awful "men are superior" kind of pig- cause of trauma of course, its all "justified'.
But the scene where it all unraveled for me is when his family members (cousin and his dad I think) gaslight the heroine into thinking shes an awful person towards hero and men in general . Now, don't get me wrong, the woman had issues but when it came to hero she gave what he deserved, but those family members later admitted they gaslighted her and guilted her into accepting hero and his vile propositions devoid of any care and love for her. He wanted an incubator without many needs opinions. Awful awful man. She needed to run from him and his red flags not marry him and have kids with him.

Wonderful, emotional story of Enzo, a billionaire who wants children but not a wife and realtor Chloe, who also wants children but no husband. Enzo hires Chloe to find him a house. She shows him her favorite house which needs extensive remodeling. They have an instant attraction. Enzo buys the house on the condition that Chloe oversees the remodeling. Both have deep distrust issues from past relationships and a failure to communicate. This is a hot, steamy, emotional story full of tears and love never expressed. Can they learn to trust each other and not close each other out? A must read!

What a roller coaster ride

I actually gave this book 5 stars. I was so connected to the characters that I laughed and I cried. What a great read! I can't wait to find out about Dominic! This is a stand alone with a HEA. I love books like this where you have many characters moving in a big circle but you read a complete story in a small circle. The characters are intertwined but the author does such a great job describing everyone that you dont have to read previous books to know what is going on. And because of that, I will definitely read more from Fiona Murphy.

It took me some time to get used to the writing. The MCs talk a lot sometimes more than three long paragraphs and as there is a quotationmark only at the beginning of each paragraph I am always wondering who is talking.
This is my third book by this author and the dress code of the females is puzzling: one heroine, a real estate agent, put on a lace dress for the the viewing of a house, another heroine dressed up in a cashmere dress, yoga pants, and boots for a nightclub, and the third put on a long chiffon halter dress with a chiffon jacket in the morning for the meeting of her sisters-in-law-to-be.
There was a lot of s#x everywhere going on.
When the heroine reflected on her curvy figure some paragraphs were copy and paste, the same wording in each book, that was repetitive throughout all books.

Nice book with nice characters, the bad ones get their due.

Oh my God!😍😍😍

I absolutely loved this book. I adore Enzo, and all his family. The Sabatini men are all worth the confusion, and turmoil that comes with loving one. Enzo has a fear of being burned emotionally, as well as financially. He wants a family, committed love from a woman, and he wants his lady to be okay with his devotion. I loved the back and forth of the trust issues. Sometimes it was frustrating to read, like just talk to each other, already! I need to read the other mens stories now . Worth more than 5 stars.😁

A GREAT DISAPPOINTMENT

I have only ever left great reviews for Fiona Murphy books because they are usually fantastic. To my shock and surprise this is the first bad review I'm leaving. From the start I notice there were spacing issues, grammar issues and typos. That already had me irritated. Then to discover that I could not stand the heroine was the icing on the cake. I kept waiting for her to change my mind and become likable but it never happened. Enzo should have dumped her.

This is the third book in the Dirty Billionaire Series by Fiona Murphy. This one centers around Enzo and Chloe and their journey. I couldn't put this book down, once I finished I was craving more of their story. If you haven't read the series, definitely start with the first book, although they really can be read as standalones, you will get more by reading them all. The author stays true to her characters so read from the beginning and watch their world unfold.
